Easy to set up with the app. Here's a lil tip- after you set it up with the app RESTART YOUR MODEM for the internet connection to begin than update firmware. Your welcome.........

I did not want to buy another router.

Could wait for Asus to process the RMA/Service Order so I bought this one (RT-AX86U) to get me by and be a backup for when the 86U comes back from Asus. I did the setup on this one with the Asus router app on my phone. Nice and easy peasy. the 86S won't do 2.5 gig but for ow that is fine.

Decent router, when on discount and you trade old

Very low latency on wifi

Great product, great price, Not so great delivery

Best Buy delivery leaves a lot to be desired. Superfast home delivery sounds great, and it is when it happens. Changing the dates just as you are hitting the final order. Constant "We're sorry but your delivery is delayed" messages, and finally getting it when anybody could have shipped it by really makes me lose confidence.

Lightening Fast Wi-Fi

Our household has 4 TV's, 3 desktop computers, two of which are for gaming, 3 laptops, iPads, tablets, and phones...Yikes! Ages from 68 down to a 2 year old great-grandson, who knows how to use electronics. Have not had any buffering, slowdowns, kick-offs, interruptions, just smooth service. I have told many people to purchase this router!
