Great for gaming. Connectivity speeds have tripled since I installed this thing. No more lagging. It was very easy to setup.

Moving from a life long Linksys user, this is by far the best router I've ever had. The WiFi range on this is better than other router I've used, including Mesh systems (without wired LAN and relative similar costs). Setup is very easy and they offer complete control via web-interface. After running a multitude of tests, there are 2 things that stand out for me: 1: The range is great. Avoiding mesh systems is always the best solution if possible. 2: traffic management by the router is excellent thus far. And if you want you can prioritize devices. I have no complaints.

The best router. I installed it in an area that has no WI FI. The router increased my distance outside to 1500 feet.

Very good wifi router. The performance is excellent and the ASUS user management interface is very good with customizing nearly every setting. Recommended!

Feature packed and advertised a a router that with fast WiFi speeds as well as "the winning choice" for mobile gaming. The problem with this router is that it's cumbersome to set up...especially when attempting to connect other routers to it and the mobile software that allows you to connect to the router and configure it is glitchy. I've spent numerous years in IT; I worked as an IT professional for at least 25 years and as recently as 2021. Of all of the networking equipment I've ever configured for myself or numerous clients over the years, I must admit - this is a problematic piece of gear. I purchased the hardware along with another compatible Asus Wi-Fi 6 router in Jan/Feb. One of the switch ports failed on this router in mid August; unheard of in my recent line of work. I do not recommend this gear, especially when considering the price point and the difficulty with setup/configuration as well as the reliability. While it's possible that the reliability issue is isolated to my piece of gear only, I'm not convinced that it is.
