Great, solid router! It has many features and long range!

Purchased 9/15/2024. On 1/19/2025 while sending emails it just shut off on it's own without warning. 2 computers and a Fios modem plugged into the same power strip, all working perfectly. Tried reboot, hard reset to no avail. Checked power supply to router with multimeter, putting out 19.5 volts as per spec. Obviously an internal failure with the router. Went to Best Buy with receipt. They told me to contact Asus. Entered my serial # on the Asus website and was told by Asus to contact Best Buy for service. Called Best Buy support and explained the issue. They made an appointment for me to see the Geek Squad. Went to Geek Squad. They told me again that I had to contact Asus because I didn't buy "protection" when I purchased product. Went home and back on Asus support website. Again the message was for my serial # to go to Best Buy for service. So I am now in possession of a 4 month old router that does not work and I am unable to get service from the manufacturer or the retailer. Stay far, far away. This product is junk and the service is non-existent.

I've worked with many routers and found the Asus GUI to be the easiest to use. This is a stable router that won't crash on you.

Great features! It's perfect for an enthusiast or professional but not pay or need for an enterprise level device. Firewalls can be set per device or user (with multiple devices) and has both genre options as well as allow/ deny lists. With sale and trade-in i was able to get about 20% off, which was a no-brainer.

Bought to replace an older ASUS router. Love the interface and support. Also purchased for the 2.5 GB Wan connection.

Firmware could use some work . Ended up returning.

Signed up for the Spectrum 1 GB internet service. Their router would crash and drop connection, especially on all my Sonos speakers. I updated to this router and problem solved. I like also having the boost function, so when I play games, we have a great experience.

Very good product, it increased the speeds of my wifi.

Better WiFi range in house, had a mesh system before this and this router completely eliminated the need of the mesh system. Being able to Configure the internet settings on this router is amazing.

Bought this router at BB jun 2023. I am a techy. This is my 4th ASus router. Pros:At its price point, there is nothing to brag about. Cons: - run hot at time - wifi durability is highly questionable. Wifi keeps going into lala land frequently after 1 year, at a distance as close as 2 ft from the router. I have 2 other ASus routers with identical wifi challenges. Is my luck this good or This is a common issus with ASUS routers?
