My son saw an instant 30% Increase in frame rate on his favorite video game and I saw no warnings of weak signal from my exterior wifi cameras directly after install of this router. Very pleased with the results and purchase of this router.

Works great on my current WiFi. Once I can connect to fiber optics this router will handle the speed, no problem.

I had a previous version of this router and it wasn't able to keep up with my Iot devices. This handles the wifi 6 with all my devices and gave me a great speed booster over my old router. Very happy with my purchase!

Trash router. Randomly disconnects and high ping spikes multiple times a day. When it does work it works great but that’s once in a blue moon. I’ve been arguing back and forth with the ISP and Asus but finding a solution feels impossible. To make matters worse my return date is expired and now I’m left with a useless router. This has to be my worst experience buying from Best Buy.

Asus very rude disrespectful hang up on you talk to you crazy Asus customer service is no help they do not help you with a product the way they help you fix stuff is just reset to factory default that do not help sometimes

Coming from an Asus RT-AC68U that was rock solid for the past 8 years, this model adds a significant speed and range improvement. With the router centrally located in a new 2800 sqft one level house with all interior walls insulated, Floor to ceiling cabinets, solid wood doors, quality windows and slider doors, stucco siding, I now have good signal on the patio whereas with the AC68U, signal was really spotty with frequent drops. It has the same top notch Asus interface and frequent firmware updates unlike Netgear and TP_link which stop providing firmware updates after 2-3 years, leaving the most important security device in your house vulnerable to hackers. On the negative side, it doesn't seem to be as stable as the AC68U, radios drop once in a while for a minute or two, hopefully these drops will be fixed in future firmware updates. Over all a great purchase, arguably the best bang for the buck router out there.

This router was very easy to set up. After hooking it up to the modem you will need to reset your modem. After the modem reboots, your WiFi will be ready to set up. This is a very fast router, and definitely prioritizes the 5gh channel. It has extreme range! I’ve never heard of a 5gh channel having this kind of range. It has an extensive user interface if you want to use the app or the web interface to control and monitor everything. This router is good at everything!

Recently i got brand new equipment and, personally im though with dealing with netgear. My choice,so i asked someone at the store whats one of the best gaming routers out their? I took this home and im extremely pleased! No lag, high speed and beyond happy. Very easy set up, nice design and if you like me if you hate netgear support , this is a good replacement. Good warrenty, and high quailty !

The Asus RT-AX86U Pro has very good coverage and speed, particularly in the 5-GHZ range. We have a moderately sized house at 2200 square feet, and this Router covers the entire house with No Dead-Zones. Our Cable Plan is 500 M-bits, and on the 5-GHz band we reach 525 M-bits at 10 Ft. from the router on Wi-Fi 6 devices. We drop down to 350 M-bits at 20 Ft. with 2 walls, and 225 M-bits at 30 Ft. with 2 walls and a ceiling.. The 2.4 GHz Band is Not as fast, (which is to be expected), with speeds of 125 M-bits at 10 Ft. and 75 M-bits at 20 Ft, and 50 M-bits at 30 Ft. The Setup was fairly easy and intuitive, with plenty of Controls & Options to configure to your specific environment.. We are extremely pleased with this Router's Coverage, Performance, and Ease of Use. Highly Recommended.

I needed a new router because my old one was no longer receiving security or firmware updates. After a lot of looking around at different ones, I got this Asus. Actually, I got two and had my computer guy set up an AI mesh to be able to reach all the way to the back patio. I chose this model because of the coverage, automatic firmware and security updates without an annual fee. So far, they have been absolutely great!!! I get perfect coverage all thru the house and backyard. And the WiFi 6 is a huge upgrade for me. With my internet provider, I am paying for a speed of 300 Mbps and I'm averaging 370 Mbps. Even my old Galaxy s10 phone is getting 370, as are all my various tablets, including an older Amazon Fire. And my Roku Ultras are getting twice the speed they were before. Everything loads fast with no buffering. So far, I'm very happy with these routers.

purchase to add as a node. Coverage of other side of the house is great now. Super easy to setup as mesh node to another AX5700.

This is a great router so far. I havent had it very long but the setup was super easy and quick. Plus it has great range and you can add other extenders and boosters to form a nice mesh system with great square footage coverage. Very fast and im finally getting the speeds I pay for thru my internet provider. Gigabyte internet is great espesially when thats what youve been paying for for a while but never came close with my old setup.

I got this to fix problems I had with Google wifi, and it delivers. Plus, it can be used as a mesh when you upgrade later. More bells and wistles than other units, but handles my household like a champ.
