It is amazing what a great quality router will do for your home network. Setting up a grid network with an older ASUS router was a breeze.

This router is great for gaming without breaking the bank. As soon as I installed this router I noticed better connectivity, both in speed and in range. The app that ASUS has for this router is FAR BETTER than the nighthawk app. I'm honestly glad my nighthawk router died. Definitely recommend this product.

Rock solid stabile in the first few months so far. Using successfully with CenturyLink and their PPPoE login-required fiber termination box. Stock firmware is pretty good (web browser interface). iPhone App is pretty good too. And I don’t need to create a user account with the manufacturer (like Netgear was trying to make me do). Great community support forums and Asus website’s FAQ articles. And I’m considering the Merlin firmware, which (1) is stabile and reversible. And (2) it’s approved and warranty-friendly by Asus. (Other routers I’ve owned tend to have confusing and possibly risky 3rd-party firmware.) Range is perfect for my modest needs so far. But it’s also Nice that Asus allows each WiFi router to act as a main hub OR a “mesh” node, so it should be easy to expand the reach my network later.

Owner of a dozen+ ASUS routers over the years. This is their barrel aged equivalent. The most out of the box ready experience I’ve had with any router. Printers stay connected while in deep sleep; smart home device remain responsive; browsing flies. No random router resets required.

Simple set up, great range, and extremely fast. Game mode is a nice feature that actually works by improving latency/ping. Asus mesh system is a great feature as well. Needed to get internet to my shop so an upgrade made sense. Works seamlessly for my needs.

Such a great upgrade from my old 2017 Asus router. Works very well with Frontier 2gig internet. I've never seen speeds like this in my house period. Wifi distance is perfect for my 1645 sq ft house. Only thing I wish was different is it's not mall mountable. I will have to purchase a small floating shelf to put it where I really want it.

Bought this to replace my Nighthawk XR500. So far I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in overall connectivity and performance. Also love the ability in the app to monitor network traffic. Will be adding more Mesh routers to this in the near future.

I have few of these in my house and they're incredible!!! They're all connected by ethernet to my modem. I have the tx power turned down for my central home unit and directional ALFA APA-M25 antenna's for the unit pointing down my driveway and street and another facing my backyard and garrage. The directional units are locked to 20mhz channels and can really cover some distance. The bandwidth limiter for the guest networks works flawless, no buffer bloat or packet loss.

Nice router, easily handles my new and faster fiber optic service of 500mb. Quick setup and high quality were the calling cards for this device and Best Buy had it in stock at a super price. I'm glad I went to Best Buy for this purchase.

Great router so far. Upgraded from Netgear Nighthawk XR500. The jump from Wifi 5 to Wifi 6 is night and day difference. Went from 200-250 download on 5g to 500+ while using a Netgear Wifi 6 adapter and 400+ while using wifi on my Asus motherboard. I initially had 100mbps on wired but after firmware upgrade and hard reset, download speeds are 900+ and I have 1gbps download plan. I also swapped router because I was experiencing lag in game while wired and that went away once switching. I guess that's the difference between routers released 4 years apart. Netgear Nighthawk was dual core and this Asus Ax5700 is quad core with more RAM.

Great router with excellent range. The cable modem router I was renting from Xfinity only gave me 100mbps from my router to my room. This thing is giving me over 500mbps wirelessly in my room. Great improvement! I also really like the ASUS router app. It's cool to see the current network traffic and have the ability to enable parental controls on a device-to-device basis. I might still return it as I didn't realize it only has 1gbps ethernet ports. Debating getting the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro instead since it has 2.5gbps ethernet.

Super fast router and a nice strong signal. Upgraded to this because my old router was struggling to reach the whole house. This router has no problems with that and gives me super fast speeds everywhere.

Super easy to set up and handles 2 gaming computers and multiple streaming devices all at the same time. Had a TP link before this one, and the ASUS quality is showing its worth.

Setting this router up was the easiest I have ever owned (netgear, tplink). The app, internet security, and vpn that comes with it are an excellent value. Plus, Bestbuy sold this router much cheaper than amazon.
