So far great! Just installed today (12/22) and the increase in range and speed throughout the house is fantastic. Just what I was looking for in a wireless router.

It is amazing what a great quality router will do for your home network. Setting up a grid network with an older ASUS router was a breeze.

Have been using this for just over a month now and have not encountered any problems whatsoever so far! Despite some of the other mentions about buggy app/router, have not personally experienced at all. Previous router was also an Asus and it worked great as well…only reason to upgrade was to capitalize on the higher speeds that my plan allowed. Had been eyeing this router for months, but ended up missing the boat and eventually just bit the bullet on the pro version as had rewards to use up. I don’t necessarily think I needed the pro version so can’t attest to whether it makes any difference in terms of performance. All in all, so far don’t have any complaints about this router and it’s been a trusted brand in my household.

I have been a faithful Netgear router follower for many years but recently have had an ASUS vpn router (RT-AC86U) hiding behind them for my important devices. The ASUS vpn router has never given me any problems so when it came time to upgrade I decided to go with another ASUS and yes, the AX5700 (RT-AX86U) is also a vpn router but I only plan on activated the vpn service if I need to. The AX5700 is an excellent choice if you're looking for just a router or a vpn router, it is fast even though it may look a little funky but I finally did get use to that look with the my first ASUS router!

I got this to replace Nighthawk r7900. I thought of getting a mesh setup due to weak wifi signal in some areas of the house. I decided to get this one and all my signal issues are gone. I have great wifi in all areas of my house. I no longer feel the need for a mesh system. I used to have mediocre 2.4Ghz signal in my garage but now have a sturdy connection. Both 2.4Ghz & 5GHz signal strengths far surpass my old router. My ring doorbell use to have pretty low signal, but now it has a strong signal. Better wifi speeds as well. So glad I bit the bullet and got this higher end model.

Excellent wifi 6 router. It instantly boosted my wifi speeds compared to my older router. Super easy setup.

Finally got one that works. I had the worst luck with new Wi-Fi routers lately, seems everyone I got failed either right out of the box or within a few days. Very odd. Tried this Asus one and it works great. I've had this running for almost a year now, very happy.

Very good router. It covers all my apartment and work fine with my 2gb connection. Zero lag while I'm playing online videogames

Setting this router up was the easiest I have ever owned (netgear, tplink). The app, internet security, and vpn that comes with it are an excellent value. Plus, Bestbuy sold this router much cheaper than amazon.
