Fast but not able to work with all my devices

Impressive speed but would not stay connected to some of my devices. Spent weeks trying to keep it connected with factory resets and adjustments to parameters. It was fast when it connected for the latest devices. However, dropping connections to Google speakers, MyQ garage opener, and Govee devices became too big of a headache. Switched to a Google mesh which appears to be much more stable.

Was sick of dealing with split mesh systems so i opted for a better single router and it works great. I put this in my closet in the center if the home on the second floor and I get coverage in and all around without issues. I opted to convert to Merlin custom firmware and im glad i did, performs much faster and consistent. The software is super responsive and everything is better than expected. Great value. I dont need the 6Ghz band but still use with Wi-Fi 7 devices and get well over 1000MB/s downloads.

This router is a surprise for sure. The amount of settings that can be changed is awesome. I was able to set it up exactly the way i wanted. Gaming feels faster than the netgear rs700 and the tp link be800. I went to this router because my rs700 started having internet drops. This Asus router has more bells and whistles but is still pretty user friendly for people who want an easy setup. Multi gig ports and fast wifi. I am able to get all 1.4gbps from my isp in my living room. The router also sets a unique ip address for devices as opposed to just stacking from 1,2,3, etc. Asus hit the nail on the head with this one, and my gameplay on Black ops 6 agrees.

This replaced a Linksys Router which was losing connection to the internet constantly. I thought it was Spectrum but I have no problems with this Asus Router. It covers my 3 floor condo. No problem streaming or browsing on all my Apple products and Windows products. Apple TV works great. Terrific product.

I’ve owned the Netgear NightHawk Rax50, TP Link Archer Ax4400, and now this beast. The app interface is solid. The web browser interface allows for further advance configs. The router supports wireless VLAN tagging, not just subnetting.

I bought into the Asus mesh system for my house and have had great luck with this brand. I upgraded to gigabit internet service and needed a beefier router. This has done the job so far. I was able to add my existing mesh node and reuse my older main router as a node.
I get full gigabit speed over wifi. I love that it has so many ports on the back. USB tethering is also a great function.

This is a great router for the home. It has plenty of connectors for wired ethernet, and it has powerful Wi-Fi as well. The only way to make the hardware better is if they made it a tri-band router. I do highly recommend that anyone buying this router install Merlin firmware on it to unleash the full power and control available.

Amazing router package.. I bought two. Backhauled them both over the 10gb SFP+ port.. The stability has been amazing and these are the first routers that have provided at least double the Wifi 6 speed.. Regularly pulling 1.5gb+ speeds over REGULAR Wifi 6. Have been testing Wifi 7 on these units and pulling 1.8gb+ speeds. No, there's no 6ghz band and that's actually fine, it's why it costs less.. but makes up for this in having two 10gb+ ports + FOUR 2.5gb ports and lastly another FOUR 1gb ports. This router also will do MLO so Wifi 7 will take advantage of both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands to hit 1.9gb+ speeds. In comparison, if you had a 6ghz + 5ghz MLO connection, you could probably achieve 2.5gb speeds but good luck attaining a stable 6ghz band connection the moment you connect from an adjacent room. I digress, this router is a WINNER from Asus. I can see it going on sale for $50 and maybe even $100 in the near future making it an absolute insane buy.

Just moved into a two story house where the equipment setup has to be in the garage. At first I experienced dead spots in the house, especially upstairs. After playing with the antennas (laying half of them horizontal) I have full connectability in every square foot of the home. Absolutely impressed!

Replaced an Eero 6+ system with this that was only 1.5 yrs old. I pay for gig but was only getting +/- 100mbs in my gaming room (had the second Eero hardwired into gaming pc). I tried swapping the Eeros around but still much slower speeds than what I pay for (still around 250). Installed this router and started getting full speed even on wifi! If want a great gaming router, or even just good router in general to get the speeds you pay xfinity or wowway for, buy this.
