To resolve this, try to power cycle both this router and your ISP's modem, and check if the router's credentials still matches with your ISP's modem security information. Additionally, check if the PC or device connecting to the router is still working properly and your ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Also, we recommend updating the router's firmware if it is running with an older version.     Worked good at first until I started having random disconnects that could be fixed by reseating the wan cable. Eventually wan port stopped working completely. Seen I couple others having similar problems so I returned it. Will be keeping an eye out if firmware will fix this issues.

    This beast has loads of options that most buyers won't need but it's designed well enough and with enough options to be used in small businesses. It also can be used in an AIMesh with other ASUS routers.

    I had a Nighthawk 1900 before and at the far-end my place i was getting about 120mbps. After I changed the router to this one I was getting about 420mbps big improvement. Great for gaming.

    Would not connect to internet. 5 hours over 3 days speaking with customer service and still never got it to work. They kept insisting it was my internet was the problem yet i could plug in my old routers and they worked fine. Bought this to exspand my service since it was rated for 5400 sq ft

    Great router when it works

    I would like the opportunity to post two reviews. The first would tell the glory of this unit when it works. The second would tell the ignominy of this thing when it doesn't work. Which is frequently in my experience. I went through three of these. They each worked great, for a while. Then died and would not come back.

    I really wanted to like this router. upgraded from the wifi 6 version. constatnly dropped connection, was having issues getting Ip from modem. I have a 1Gb connection and it would constantly drop to 20Mbs -_- I would not recoment

    Worst Router I’ve Owned in 30 years.

    Similar to reviews on other platforms, the 1 star reviews came true for me. Numerous dropped Wifi network and eventually the router “locked up”. I was unable to soft or hard reset. I exchanged for the Netgear Nighthawk Wifi7 router.

    Used as a mesh system but it was too inconsistent and caused many issues with data speeds. Was getting 50 MBPS down out of 2 Gig and bought 2 to use as a mesh system

    Bought this and net gear, one going to my daughters. This was so easy to set up, the range omg, love the range of this thing. Packing was a little over the top. But least it shows it was cared for. I stream a lot ! I was happy with the streaming. I have many devices over 80 and it gave me troubles once I got over 50. That is reason for the 4 star, of range is a issue this is wonderful, if banging the many devices like me eh not sure

    1) ASUS DO NOT MENTION OS VERSION. UNSTABLE OS SOFTWARE , NEVER UPDATE IT FEATURES. DO NOT WORK. FOR INSTANCE FTP HAS BUG, AICLOUD HAS BUG AND PARENTAL CONTROL AS WELL AND OTHERS FEATURES TOO. 2) NEVER MENTION USB SPEED. SUPER SLOW USB SPEED DATA TRANSFER. ALL ROUTERS HAVE UNSTABLE WIFI CONNECTION. 2GB OF MEMORY WOW SUPER LOW ON MEMORY AND MEMORY SPEED SHOULD BE DD5. YOU WILL ALWAYS SUFFER FROM ROUTER AUTO REBOOTING AND DISCONNECTION. REMEMBER WHEN A COMPUTER IS LOW ON MEMORY IT WILL FREEZE AND DO OTHE BAD BEHAVIOR THE SAME HAPPENS WITH ALL THESE WIFI ROUTERS. THEY ARE CHEATING ON THE CUSTOMER FOR SELLING SOMETHING THAT DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY. IF YOU WANT TRY IT AND YOU WILL SEE. 3) CUSTOMER SUPPORT DOES NOT HELP AT ALL.     Number of connected devices 64. Where does this information come from? I can find no mention of this limitation anywhere in any other reviews or production information. I could not ask this question anywhere else including with Asus. Please provide more information and I will update or remove this review.

    Unstable garbage garbage like every single other router Asus makes. All special features have to be disabled for it to work at all, when it does work it stops working five minutes later. This is the 4th Asus router I have owned and they are all garbage on both stock and CFW. All or half clients drop off after few days and the router needs to be rebooted to make it work again. Prone to Russian virus attacks. All around piece of trash that is completely unreliable and unstable. Good luck if you rely on Asus network products for security cameras and other smart security devices. It is worse that having nothing at all The software looks slick but it is full of bugs and the routers is an unstable piece of crap
