Best value to money laptop out there if you are interested in gaming. The display is good, there is no lag and it can play pretty much any game. Good starter for getting into gaming

A powerful and durable gaming laptop. It runs AAA games with no problem and is perfect for video editing or multitasking. It has a rugged, military-style design, and with the RTX 4070, it performs like few others at this price. The 144Hz screen is super smooth, it stays cool under pressure, and the SSD is fast. It’s not the lightest or quietest, but it's definitely reliable and high-performing.

When a Switch/PS Portal is too small for gaming!

I originally bought this to strictly be my gaming machine for fortnite / pinball fx, but after using it for a while (soft keys, excellent touchpad feedback, customizable backlight keys with effect, full numeric keypad), I realized, I think this might be my new main PC! Sure it's a little heavier than my current, and it's not a touchscreen, but clearly lit keys and a keyboard/touchpad that feels really good to touch with a full numeric keypad - why wouldn't i use it all the time?
I had to set the GPU mode to Ultimate for a couple of games to play smoothly on the default mode, but after that pc has been keeping me happy and using it as a portable gaming machine that so far doesn't appear to overheat! Even my non-gaming laptops tend to overheat after a few hours and I expected it to do so as well, so it has a good ventilation system.
So far my only complaint is the built in speakers do not appear to be very loud, though my home is also already loud (it's hot, so multiple air purifiers and a fan going on) so I can barely hear it, even at volume max settings.
Pros:
1TB/16GB specs
Not too heavy
Very nice fast screen
Well lit keyboard with lights you can customize in color, in strobing, or "breathing"
Fans keep it very cool while in graphic intense games
FULL NUMERIC KEYPAD!
Very obvious big power button not located in a spot you can accidentally press it
Dolby Atmos codec for built-in speaker*
WASD keys highlighted so they stick out very well
Cons:
Requires a lot of first time updates when opening, it'll take about an hour
Even though much bigger screen than a portable gaming machine, a little small for some games (personal preference, as I'm used to very large screens)
16GB RAM, which feels like enough, but I'm used to having 32GB
*Sound isn't very loud w/o headsets (big problem when just trying to play without headsets AND have air purifier on). For reference, the max volume output (100/100) on the ASUS is about a 20/100 on my other laptop. That's a huge difference, but I assume it's because most would wear gaming headsets.
Overall, love the laptop, the low sound isn't that much of an issue for me as I can put on headsets on.

Bought this for my son on Black Friday and it handles every game he plays very smoothly. I recommend doing a clean install of windows to get rid of the bloatware. I also upgraded the RAM to 32gb to ensure it handles everything he does without a hiccup. He mostly plays Fortnite and cod and it's great for that.don't expect the battery to last too long gaming without being plugged in but that's to be expected anyway, it does have great battery life when only using the Igpu though for basic tasks.

Brand new it worked fine but would experience an occasional stutter on high demand games, even with just the built in display. Had to completely remove included drivers re-install in the proper order (bios, chipset, storage, iGPU, armory crate and finally dGPU). The armory crate settings out of the box do not work well with the drivers included out of the box so this re-install is necessary for better performance. Even with clean driver install, Optimus settings in armory crate are just are bad for whatever reason and causes lag in app switching or stutters in games if you don’t customize processes in the background using a custom profile. Auto is great and works perfectly with no tweaking so I’ll just keep that.
Keyboard: great feel, responsive, light. The only oddity is the delete key for whatever reason is just barely out of place compared to any other keyboard I’ve ever used. Got used to it in a couple days.
The screen: leaves a little to be desired. In normally lighted conditions like an office or room with windows in the day, the screen has noticeable washing from the corners. Somewhat expected on this type of display and nothing new for the technology. It’s a concession to keep the cost down for the other components to be at this price point. In less bright settings it’s a great screen and very bright with good even tone across.
Battery: awesome if you use the auto or Optimus settings so the iGPU handles mundane tasks. I’ll often get 8 hours if I’m not needing to engage the dGPU.

This is a quiver killer for sure. The display is crisp and beautiful. It has plenty of speed and space out of the box. With an easy path to upgrade both. I have been using it with the new remote desktop windows 11 mode with Meta Quest 3. It works flawlessly. RDR2 in huge scale is awesome. Playing Marvel Rivals in a huge fast screen is so much fun. PCVR was a top consideration in buying this and hasnt disappointed. I bought it on sale for 899 a month ago. I think at the current price it is still worth a look. It is enough laptop for just about everything.

I played fortnite, cod, escape from tarkov, ark and Minecraft on high or ultra settings (depends on the game) without any issues. Battery life is decent. 3hrs on cod before dying. Gets hot if you overclock the laptop might want to get cooling fans. (Highest temperature I got was 92 F). A good gaming laptop for mid tier. Especially on sale. If you have room for a desktop I would go that route instead. ESPECIALLY for parents trying to get something for your kid. Go desktop because the laptop can NOT get upgraded like desktop and laptop are somewhat fragile too. Hope this help someone out there

I've been using this Asus TUF Gaming laptop for a few days now, and I'm incredibly impressed. The performance is outstanding, effortlessly handling demanding games and creative software. The display is vibrant and the keyboard is comfortable for long gaming sessions.
While it can get a bit loud under heavy load, the build quality is solid and it feels durable. The battery life is decent, but you'll likely need to keep it plugged in for extended gaming sessions.
Overall, this laptop is a great value for the price. If you're a gamer or creative professional looking for a powerful and reliable machine, I highly recommend the Asus TUF.

I'll start by saying this is the best laptop I've ever owned. It does run on the warm side and I would recommend a cooling pad for long sessions but otherwise it just performs like you'd want it to. It's fast and responsive the keys feels good, and the touchpad is actually pretty decent. It does attract fingerprints but that's nothing major. The weakest part of the laptop is the battery life without tweaking and the webcam but I have a 1080p webcam so not a big deal either. Overall for the price I'd say this is one of the best values in gaming laptops.

I'm happy with this purchase. The computer is quick and efficient. I read a review that it tends to get hot, so I purchased a cooling dock for it. The one thing I didn't expect was the volume when not wearing headphones. At 100%, the volume is just lacking. That is my only complaint with it thus far. I like that it has another slot for an additional SSD and has room to upgrade the RAM. All in all, this is a good budget laptop.

This laptop at the price is absolutely insane! For what I got, it’s literally better than my desktop (albeit desktop is now old with a 1080). I’ve had this about a month now, and it crushes most games I play. Battery is a little over 1.5 hours and reduces power usage to accommodate, but when plugged in the gpu kicks into a higher mode and gives more frames. Overall, for the price, I didn’t expect what I got and I’m pleasantly surprised and happy.

The laptop is great, excellent performance in gaming and work. Doesn't overheat and multitasking works fantastic. As a programmer and casual/comp gamer, games also run super smooth. And quality of the screen honestly surprised, i line it better than my monitor's. I would say that the battery life its not that great, but considering the power of the laptop i cant complain at all. Excellent purchase.

This guy is a great gaming laptop for the price I paid. It plays all the games I throw at it at smooth frame rates. I primarily use it plugged in for the performance boost however I have used it on battery on a few occasions. Battery life is, well, not great but it's a power hungry gaming laptop so that's to be expected. The trackpad can be a little finicky but I primarily use a mouse while using it so it's not that big of an issue. It does generate some heat but the fans do keep it cool and using the ASUS Armory software keeps the fans at a tolerable noise level. Overall I am happy with the purchase!

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this laptop but, after extensive research, I decided to go with this ASUS F15 rtx 4070. It's my first gaming laptop and so far its been amazing. Ive been playing Helldivers 2 on this bad boy and there's a big graphical difference between the laptop and my ps5. The laptop feels sturdy and looks nice, well designed.

I’ve been using the ASUS TUF for a few months now, and it’s been an impressive performer. The build quality feels durable and premium — definitely lives up to the “TUF” name. Performance-wise, it handles multitasking, gaming, and development workloads smoothly without overheating, thanks to its efficient cooling system. The display is crisp with good color accuracy, and the refresh rate makes a noticeable difference for gaming and creative work.
Battery life is decent, lasting me around 6–8 hours with mixed use. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the backlighting is a nice touch.
Overall, a great balance between price, power, and reliability. Highly recommended for students, gamers, and professionals who need dependable performance.

Excellent laptop for gaming and light browsing or MS Office tasks with RTX 4070. Maxed out configuration by installing 64 GB of DDR5 RAM at 5600 MHz (appears as 5200 MHz in Windows Task Manager) and upgraded to 8 TB (two 4 TB NVME SSDs) with no issues. One minor nitpick is the heavy power adapter, but overall satisfied with the high performance and value of this laptop.

Im new to the pc gaming world. Ive also been out of the pc world since windows 7. So its been a while. This is my first experience with a gsming pc and to me its absolutely fantastic. I just played black ops 6 for 7 hours/ it was plugged in. No studder no jitters. Cpu stayed around 90 degrees which i guess is a little hot ao i ordered a cooling pad. But for out of the box ease of use. I couldnt be happier. This was absolutely worth every penny. (I didnt mess with any settings with graphics i just let the game go with the flow) beautiful. Love it. Very happy. Also it looks really cool. I seen alot of complaints about finger prints i doesn't have that issue at all.
