I enjoyed using this monitor for the past 10 months. One day I noticed a faded black horizontal line at the top of the monitor. At first I thought it might have been a faulty cable. So I replaced the cable but the line would not go away. I am disappointed with the product.

This monitor is great for the price I paid (Around $180). It was well packaged, the colors look great, slightly better than my older Acer monitor. 144hz is smooth as butter. First thing, just to get the bad out of the way, the cutout for the back ports for power and video is tiny. They plug up parallel to the panel and I had to bend both power and displayport cables that came with the monitor almost at a right angle to get them to plug in under there. Pulling them out is even worse. Definitely could have used a bigger cutout. Vesa mounting works fine (but the slightly curved back made the vesa arm installation a bit weird. Not sure if its the arm (mount up brand) or the monitor. The vesa adapter had spacers for curved back monitors and I was only able to install spacers on the bottom two screw holes and it screwed on fine, but if I added the spacers to the top two screws, the screws weren't long enough to thread into the monitor... so I had to leave them out but it still works for me and it feels sturdy on there so oh well! Speakers are super average and you definitely don't want to use these for any type of listening other than casual youtube and netflix watching. But they're there, and it's definitely a nice to have rather than to not. Says its freesync and apparently it works on NVIDIA GPUs, I have a 1660 super, but it doesn't appear as an option on my nvidia control settings. Not much of an issue since I didn't plan on using that so take that as you will if you want to use gsync on this. The stand seems very stable, sturdy, and well made. It has a lot of swivel and height options to make anyone happy. If I didn't have a vesa mount I would feel very very comfy and safe using the included stand. Overall, it's a great looking monitor at a great price (when under $200) by a great and reputable brand. Definitely a solid upgrade.

It was perfect until it suddenly died while watching my friend’s stream on discord. The bottom half of the screen won’t display anything and the top half is all distorted. The monitor is less than a year old yet it’s already dead...

This monitor is quickly becoming one of my favorites. And not because of its gaming capability, but it’s overall utility. Being a software developer, I’m always staring at a bunch of screens, I literally have 5 in front of me as I type this review! 1 of them being this ASUS Tuf Gaming monitor of course. It has more than enough adjustable settings to suit every use out there. Having several different screens, I try to adjust them as close as possible to match each other in color, hue, brightness, filters, etc. mainly just to make it easier on my eyes. I’ve had to completely get rid of monitors before because I couldn’t get them close enough to what I like. Not this monitor though. This monitor I was able to just plug in, press the power button, and on it came instantly connecting to my laptops. I doubt I even spent 5 minutes adjusting the settings before it was more than good enough. My absolute FAVORITE thing about this monitor that I LOVE, is the versatility of the stand. A lot of developers swear by having a vertical screen for their code. It makes sense, but the hassle of getting a special stand or reattaching mounts stopped me from ever trying it. Then this ASUS came along, and its as easy as just grabbing the monitor and rotating. So I can switch from writing code vertically to playing a game horizontally in SECONDS!!!! Plus the height adjustment lets me lower it all the way to the base when vertical so I don’t have to strain my neck looking up! I really can’t emphasize enough how much I LOVE this stand and monitor. As for gaming, which is what its advertised for, this monitor does what it says. It’s not 4K, so you can’t compare it that way, but what it does short of that is amazing. Easily the best looking monitor I’ve had for PC gaming. Full disclosure though, I’m not a hardcore techie gamer, so if you are, you may want to check with one, but as far as this casual gamers eyes are concerned, I give it 5 stars!

Monitor failed less than 1.5 yrs. Horizontal lines constantly flickering.

i absolutely love this gaming monitor. I have probably had the best experience so far with PC gaming. The old monitor i had was not as fancy as this and thus gaming was not very amusing due to the display resolution, contract clarity and overall was just a piece of junk. Ever since i got the Asus Tuf Gaming Monitor, my PC gaming life has been so much better. The picture quality is amazing, and the rapid refresh rate is so much better and the wide viewing angles just makes this the perfect monitor. I swear i have nothing but good things to say about this. Simply put just love it., PROS Wide view angle Rapid refresh rate Stereo Spreaker ( Not crazy loud but not bad) Multiple input options Almost Bezel-less Design Multi-swivel stand Cons None so far

Bezel is delaminating from screen. I did not notice until after the return window was past. Guess i will live with it

So, everyone is in quarantine right now, and I'm right there with you. This monitor is definitely going to help make the time go by quicker. It is a true pleasure to look at. The picture is clear, bright, and vibrant (my soon to be brother in law is legally blind without his contacts in, and his exact words were "even a blind person can see clearly with this monitor.") I've tried to get this monitor to have motion blur or stuttering and I have yet to see either. On the visuals, I can't recommend this highly enough. There is one glaring flaw with it though. The built-in speakers. They are awful. The sound is flat and tinny. It is good enough if you have no other option, but seriously, don't buy this thinking it will get you out of having to buy speakers. This is overall a great monitor and the built-in speakers could come in handy, but buy this for the merits of the display only.

First off, I'm glad the shipping box was just big enough to fit the monitor and the pedestal/cables. Sometimes there is overkill in packing materials and we are faced with how to dispose of them afterwards. Most of it is made of recycled or recyclable materials, which is important to me. But they decided to use Styrofoam when others have switched to cardboard. Luckily there is a facility nearby that recycles Styrofoam into other products so I don't feel I'm contributing to the trash problem. The monitor itself is big enough to do work and play. The base is solid (read heavy) but it makes it very stable. It has vertical adjustment as well as a rotating bezel, which makes it very versatile to accommodate any needs. I was also glad they included cables so you can get connected right away. Setup was as easy as 1-2-3. Plug into power, plug HDMI into your PC/Mac, open display settings (right-click on the desktop) and there you can designate which is your main monitor if you have multiple display. On to image quality... The monitor has a high refresh rate that comes in handy when you are dealing with 3D modeling or gaming where fast and furious action sometimes results in blurring, pixelating. The color rendition is accurate and it has a great balance between highlights and deep dark blacks. In order to maximize your enjoyment, you should try this monitor with a dedicated graphics card (GPU). I am using an Nvidia STRIX-GTX1060 (6gb) and experience no lag whatsoever with high fps rates. For the price, this is an amazing value for a monitor capable of great color saturation and clear fast graphics. So far I have not found any negative things to say about this monitor.

Had it for almost 2 months... for $250 this shouldn't be a thing. now i have to jump through hoops to see if i can get it fixed or replaced.

This is an amazing monitor. I picked it up for $170 on Black Friday in 2020. However, now experiencing this product I would pay the $250 for it. The colors out of the box are essentially perfect. I did the smallest amount of tweaking in NVIDIA control panel an it is beautiful. Also amazing for gaming. I am a normal personal who games casually and the ghosting or response time vs a TN panel is not worth loosing the color accuracy of an IPS display. Also the stand is very solid. It is plastic but the quality is really high and it adjusts in every direction which is awesome. I do like the red accents and the cool lines on the base. Adds a nice flair but does not look like a gaming monitor to normal people which is perfect for me. Overall have literally no complaints. If 1080 is right for your GPU, you will not regret this purchase.

I highly recommend this BEAST monitor. If you’re buying this monitor for your PS5 or XBOX SERIES X, go grab it now before it runs out! You can’t beat the price for its quality and features. It can run 120hz on PS5 or XBOX SERIES X. Just keep in mind this is a 1080p resolution monitor which is ideal for its size since its 24 inch. I think 24 inch at 1080p @120hz is the best. Anything more than 24 inch should be at least at 1440p instead of 1080p. If you’re gonna use this for PS5 or Xbox series x, just make sure you guys have a good quality hdmi, I have a 2.0 hdmi cable and it runs perfectly. I’m not sure if you guys can use hdmi 1.4 cable to run at 120hz. But to be safe I would just grab a hdmi 2.0 cable for 120hz. OVERALL, this monitor looks dope and highly recommend it. You won’t regret buying this monitor.

So I was looking for a new monitor for my Xbox Series X. While I had thought about getting a 1440p monitor, but 1080p still looks just fine. My main desire was the 120hz/120FPS capability on Xbox and this monitor delivers that. The monitor and stand were very easy to put together, as it literally took less than a minute to set up. I love the adjustable height and how easy it is to adjust. The monitor looks good and has nice colors, but you will need to mess around with the settings to find the best picture for you. I do wish some of the settings were more customizable, like Vivid Pixel. If you want a sharper image, vivid pixel will do that, but it goes up in increments of 25, and in my personal opinion, 25 is too high. I wish I could set it at around 10, but it doesn't allow you to. But either way, there's alot of different settings you can try out to optimize the picture. The monitor comes with a Display Port, but if you're playing on console, just use your standard HDMI chord and you're good to go. Don't forget to go into the settings and turn on 120hz. It definitely makes the gameplay much smoother, especially on games that support 120FPS. Overall, great monitor for the price. There's monitors much better out there, but for this price, it's a solid deal.

Been my everyday monitor since 2022. No issues, have built in speakers. Perfect for what you expect when you buy it. Color looks great as well

Got it for the price and it’s good for what you expect it to do. Only thing is that the speakers aren’t too great, but everything else this monitor offers makes up for it. Great display and the stand makes changing my setup very convenient. I paired this with my PS5 and it’s pretty great when it comes to fps games or just any game.

If you're in the market for a high-refresh rate gaming monitor, please consider this one. The refresh rate is great and the colors are a lot better than many of the TN high-refresh rate panels. I'm coming from a 27" 1440p 144hz Acer TN panel and this Asus has much better colors and provides an overall better gaming experience. I'm using an Nvidia Geforce 2080 Super and it works great with the Freesync variable refresh rate feature. Being this is marketed as a gaming monitor, it also has menu options to display cross hairs on the screen which could be helpful when playing a game that doesn't display them. I ordered two of these monitors and come to find out one had a damaged screen which I'm guessing was from a shipping mishap. I ordered two because I think the price for this monitor is a great value for a 144hz IPS panel thats manufactured by a very reputable company (Asus). One of the downsides I have noticed is some slight ghosting when playing fast-paced first person shooters, but I've read IPS panels are known for that. I much rather have a little ghosting in trade-off for much better colors and picture. Another gripe I have is the 3.5mm audio jack is an input, not an output. Every monitor I have owned was designed with the 3.5mm jack as an output. I like to be able to have sound from an HDMI-connected Xbox One X to be played over external speakers.

Okay I got this for my son for the Xbox series x and it’s 144 hurts at 1080 p it works so smooth great color and it has speakers built in to it there not crazy loud but there nice he loves the monitor hight adjustable you can angle or 10 stars all day

Great 1080p monitor, for a great price. Rich blacks and the colors pop. Would recommend purchase to someone getting into pc gaming.

Needed to replace one monitor of a 3-monitor computer setup. So far I am very pleased with the size, clarity and the height adjustability. It was easy to connect to my existing setup and has been great. Would buy again if needed.
