This monitor is the main in my setup. I have not had any problems playing on this. It really shines in open world games like AC Origins or GTA5. I would like to get another one but being how I only game on one and have the other screen open for other things, it would be wasted. On another not, the refresh rate at 280mhz is AMAZING. No complaints here.

This was the best monitor I had ever bought. The specs were everything I needed, and all for a really good price. I bought these monitor three years ago and it still works like a charm and I haven’t run into and problems yet

I bought 2 of these monitors and I’ve owned them for a year now, possibly the best monitors I’ve ever owned. Switching from curved monitors to this was the best decision I’ve made. No ghosting, no flickering or dead pixels.

280hz moment I plugged it in “it’s in the oc settings btw” but after that i was blown away by how sharp and smooth it was with G sync turned on it was nuts 5/5 highly recommend I got very lucky with the panel lottery I have a flawless panel on my vg25qmy

The IPS panel does wonders for color reproduction and the 280hz display is a game changer. I've had it for about a year now and have had no problems.

When playing games like Valorant you can definitely feel the difference with much higher frame rates gsync is off and its smooth! Low silver to gold and i feel like the monitor had atleast a bit to do with it!

After using a 1080p 60hz monitor for years, switching to this monitor absolutely blew me away. This monitor has excellent low blue light capability. You hardly notice it is enabled, there is no significant red tint to it. The sRGB mode is fantastic as well. Colors are true to life. Then, the best thing of all is the 240 hz refresh rate. Once you try a high refresh rate monitor, you'll never go back to a regular 60hz monitor. Scrolling is so much smoother. Game graphics are much less "choppy" is the only way I can describe it. Overall, this is a great monitor for the price. I have no complaints about it. Just make sure to use the DisplayPort connection and NOT the HDMI for best experience

Asus makes quality monitors and this no exception.

Honestly a really good monitor feels very smooth and great refresh rate for competitive gaming would 100% recommend if you want to get serious with gaming

Great FPS, great design, perfect size. G-Sync works 90% of the time. Overall, for the price, it's very much worth it.

This monitor is really good, it has a 280hz refresh rate if overclocked, but I just use it at 240hz without overclocking it. I was really surprised to see a monitor with this refresh rate at this price, while also being an ips panel, which if Im right are more expensive to make, when I saw this price I knew I had to buy it and I don't regret it, considering its similar to the new asus 360hz monitor ($700) for less than half the price ($320) and seeing 240hz monitors being out of stock and seeing the ones that are available be more than the price of this monitor.

I’ve had this monitor for over 2 years now. 2024 is a few weeks away and the monitor still upholds the standards and works amazingly for high FPS 1080p gameplay. Mostly recommend this for fast paced first person shooter PC games, console players can get a cheaper monitor since the new generation of consoles only does 120hz, so this is overkill for console players, but on PC its perfect.

Decent performance but at 1080p/280hz it's bit outdated these days unfortunately. Can't go wrong if you find it for the right price and are on a budget.

This is for all who want to buy this monitor i bought it on Black Friday it came in 5 five day i have 5 days with the monitor i choose this monitor because is not too expensive and it is 240hz and it has ips panel no the best one but is better than one with tn panel this is my first 240hz monitor i gave the monitor 3 because when i open the box everything was okay all cables the monitor was perfect i try it without change it any features just the brightness to 100 i felt the difference because i had one asus but 144hz and first i checked if there was not dead pixels everything ok but I started to play and i saw a tiny black point first I thought its was just dirty but I tried to clean it and then I noticed that is was a dead pixel and 3 day later i saw another one and before I buy it i was scared about it because i saw a lot of reviews of people saying that the monitor have and issues with dead pixel and I wanted a monitor that can last for like 5 years so now I don’t what to do return it before is too late and buy a different monitor or keep it and thats the only problem for now but I recommend it for people who dont have have enough money and want a 240hz monitor like me and also this monitor is a beast for gaming if i keep it i will probably do another review for those that want to buy one and they are not sure yet

Excellent monitor for the price. No complaints. Lightening fast response and crisp colors

This monitor is spectacular. The colors look great, and motion at 280hz is outstanding. It has a feature called black frame insertion (ELMB sync) that flashes a black frame between each frame to reduce motion blur, and with this feature at high refresh rates motion looks clearer than on any other (non OLED) monitor I've used. Unfortunately I did have 3 of this monitor and all 3 either came with or developed dead pixels, so quality control seems to be lacking.

I use this monitor for playing and streaming Apex Legends and other FPS games at a high level and the 280hz, G-Sync compatible, IPS panel, and backlight strobing features are amazing at this price point (I got this monitor at BB on sale for $279). Top tier specs across the board on this unit that should satisfy even the most competitive PC gamers. Amazing image quality and responsiveness. Highly recommended!

I received the monitor 3 days after I placed the order, so that was a very nice surprise. However, the bad surprise was that the monitor was shipped in a regular unlabeled shipping box, and not in Asus' retail box. I don't know if that's how BestBuy sells this monitor, or maybe the person who shipped it made a mistake. It doesn't look used as well, so most likely it's not a returned unit. My only complain about the monitor itself is that it doesn't go very high. I'm 5'6", and I feel like I need a few extra inches for a comfortable viewing experience. I might buy a monitor arm later on. In terms of gaming, I'm coming from a 60hz panel, so going to 280hz is eye opening. BF1 at ~150 fps looks nothing like BF1 on 60 fps :) And if you get yourself one of those coveted RTX 3080 cards, then your experience is truly going to be god-like. This is pretty much the same thing as VG259QM, but it looks like this is exclusive for BestBuy. Definitely recommend for any gamer that can afford a $300 monitor.
