I have no complaints with this laptop, which was purchased as a backup system in case my desktop went down or I needed to take a system with me. It is lightening fast with 16GB of RAM and a SSD. Quality also seems really top rated for the price point.

I don't do gaming, but got it for my main laptop. It is a lot faster than my previous machine, and has no problems running anything I've thrown at it. It doesn't have an optical drive, so I bought an external dvd drive as well.

I purchased this laptop for $999 and it was one of the best deals according to my research. Highly recommended.

I didn't buy this for games, I bought it for the speed and also for the associated equipment. It has more bang for the buck than I could get from other big brand names. The quality of build is very good. It is FAST.

I've been looking for a 6-core laptop that had 16GB of RAM but could be upgraded to 32GB. This one was on sale for $999, and was too good to pass up. Speed of the machine is great. If you are on the fence, just do it.

This is the best laptop I've ever owned. Asus has definitely come a long way from making generic products. The illuminated keyboard and gaming performance make it a excellent laptop.

Cool laptop that allows fun video gaming. Runs only on hdmi if hooking up a monitor to it. Weight is decent and size of screen s good. Material of this feels like high quality.

I have had 3 Note books at work this is my first personal Note book ASUS TUF Gaming FX705GM is just what I have been wanting. I look forward to putting this machine to the test. Price, features fit the bill for me.

Although it is listed as a gaming computer, I uses it for video production, editing and live streaming. Fast and efficient.

I wanted a good all around laptop that would be great for editing GoPro videos, working remotely and occasionally gaming. So far I love the interface and it has met all my expectations for the price.

My previous computer 'died' quite unexpectedly. I brought it to the Geek Squad and they determined the mother board was 'fried'. I had two choices, buy new or repair. I decided to purchase a new computer and went by the recommendations of the Tech. I indicated I wanted one like my 'old' computer only NOT an HP. He searched what was available and unfortunately, what fit my needs the most was not available in the store and had to be ordered. First disappointment: The first time I saw the machine was when I picked it up from the Geek Squad after the setup. I didn't realize the system lacked an optical drive. I still have many sewing files/programs on CDs and had to purchased an optical drive. That's not that big a deal EXCEPT that to use it requires the use of two of the three available USB ports. The third USB port is used by my mouse. Second disappointment: No facial recognition system on this computer. I travel a bit and it was nice having the facial recognition system on my 'old' computer so that I didn't have to enter a password every time the computer went to sleep. I could leave it in a hotel room and felt I didn't have to worry about someone accessing my files while I was out. Third disappointment: The system is VERY SLOW to wake up. Not sure why that is but my last two laptops were on in seconds (the previous ASUS laptop I owned before the HP that just died, had an "Instant ON feature") after moving the mouse. This computer has to 'think about it' for 10 seconds or so... Sometimes moving the mouse or touching the touch pad fails to wake it and I have to touch the power button to bring it 'back to life'... Bottom line: If I had it to do over, I would NOT buy this computer. I've already started looking for another system. Usually I am able to research a system before purchase. The fact that my computer 'died' unexpectedly (only 3 years old and the techs felt it was a parts failure that allowed the power to 'dump' into the system thus 'frying' the motherboard) did not allow for that research period. I realize that optical drives are becoming obsolete but, there are still some of us who do need/use them. I'm sure this is a nice computer for some users... just not me.

I have been needing a new laptop for a LONG time. I stumbled across this deal & could not pass it up. This thing is smoking fast & just an incredible gaming computer. Very happy with the purchase.

I was not really convinced of this purchase but after getting my new laptop oho my, this is a great laptop, faster great screen, comfortable and more.

This was an early Christmas present. My Son is a big gamer and absolutely loves the speed and processing of this computer. We would purchase it again. The laptop makes it easy to take it on the go.

Overall good quality machine its fast and able to handle high intensity gaming only drawback is fan can get a little loud no biggie and no displayport so no vr gaming

So far this product is working good for running graphics and some applications that need CPU power, speed and a good video card. very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my teen son. He loves it! Big upgrade compared to what he had before but at a price that I was comfortable with. He says cooling, graphics and sound are great.

I bought this computer to play pc games. It supports all my games. It has good graphic and it runs real fast with 16 gb memory and 512 gb of pci storage.

My high school son bought this computer to be able to practice coding as this is what he wants to do and so far this laptop has proven itself capable of handling it.

I have had the computer for 2 months now and it’s been very good. Sometimes there is an issue with the mousepad if your fingers are greasy or slightly wet.
