It does not have an SD card slot as indicated in the listing. It has a constant noise that sounds like a hard drive is running when it is plugged in but otherwise works out well. Battery life is great lasting about 4-5 hours and everything loads fast.

very fast boot-up and every thing else

The file transfers were extremely fast too. The only problem was after about fifteen months of general use (no gaming ) this supposed super tough machine had the cap come off the right arrow key. I am the only user and use an external keyboard most of the time.
