For this price point and what you compared to the competition, it is phenomenal. I needed something sort of a hybrid, good for remote work, good for traveling and frequent airport rides, but then I wanted something decent for my games when I felt like it. Asus built in my opinion the best laptop for my use case. Upgradable. Able to turn off the discrete GPU for battery savings. It's is lightweight and I don't even have to carry the huge charging brick as a simple USBC/100w is enough to charge it. I had the 23 version then, I got this 24 version and I'm almost ready to get the 25 because they upgraded everything and made it even better. I bought the Dell Aurora 16, HP Omen 17, and a Lenovo LOQ 16, this thing blew HP and Lenovo out of the water and it was almost as good as the battery on the Dell. I didn't keep the Dell because it is a lot heavier, simple looking, no RGB on the keyboard and for the same price, I was getting 16/512 instead of the 32 GB of RAM and 1TB SSD on the Asus. It's that good that it deserved the longest review I've ever written. They even threw in an adapter in the box and gave me 6 month of Win11 365 personal. #goatstuff
