Pixel inversion artifacts, dim, weak WiFi

Solid gaming performance with zero future proofing thanks to only 8gb vram. I ultimately returned it due to pixel inversion artifacts which are faint vertical lines that appear during motion on screen. That's a deal breaker for me. The screen is also somewhat dim for gaming but passable. Lastly, the WiFi is 6e and fast; however, the antenna was weaker than my other older WiFi 5 laptop. Worse range and inconsistent connection but that also was mostly okay.

Indeed, this laptop has a solid gaming performance with great look, layout and feel. We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are getting pixel inversion artifact. To resolve this, ensure this laptop has the most current graphics driver installed. About the Realtek WLAN weak or poor range, without a antenna, ensure the WLAN driver was installed. This WLAN controller has a range of 500 feet without RF noise or interference. To maintain optimum system stability and performance, ensure Windows, drivers, applications are up to date. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a16-2025/helpdesk_download?model2Name=FA608UP . Additionally, if you are playing games online, ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. Perfect but bluetooth

This laptop is soemthing I will keep for a very long time. From editing photos to gaming it does it all. Had some issues with bluetooth so working on that but other than that so sick!

Found this model and liked the specs. Dont trust the weird rating on the processor as being underpowered in the specs. This thing runs anything i need very well. Im happy with the build quality. Does what i need to do. And if you can grab it on sale even better.

I noticed that some games didn’t run smoothly, and every time that happened the fans became even noisier, even though the games weren’t AAA or very heavy. At the time, I thought it might just be a fan configuration issue, and since I didn’t have much time to play, I decided to leave it as it was. About a month after buying it, I left the laptop charging while I went to class. When I came back, it smelled like something had burnt and it never turned on again. I always used the original charger and didn’t modify anything in the BIOS or internal settings, so it was clearly a hardware failure. When I took it for service, they told me it would take around three weeks to check what happened. As a university student, I can’t really stay that long without a laptop, especially one that failed so soon. They offered to replace it, but only if I paid an extra fee, which I found quite unfair given that the problem started from the beginning and the laptop was not working at all. The replacement works much better so far, but I have to admit I still feel a bit uneasy about it. Losing all my documents once was very stressful, and I really hope it doesn’t happen again.
