The laptop is okay overall, but it does have some issues. The screen can be tiring on the eyes, the keyboard takes some getting used to, and the fans can be quite loud. The pre-installed Microsoft system doesn’t fully support Chinese, so the interface ends up being partly in Chinese and partly in English, and I haven’t been able to add a proper Chinese input method despite trying many solutions. System updates also fail from time to time, which can be frustrating.
The ASUS software included is not very helpful either — it asks for registration frequently but doesn’t really assist with tasks like uninstalling programs or checking hardware information. My previous Lenovo laptop didn’t have these issues, though unfortunately Lenovo doesn’t currently offer a 16-inch model.
The main advantage of this laptop is its relatively good value for the price. With the discount, it was only about $300 more expensive than in China; without the discount, the difference would have been closer to $700. Other brands in the U.S. are often at least $1,000 more expensive. After comparing different models across brands, I also noticed that Chinese versions usually come with the highest configurations, while the U.S. versions tend to be the lowest configurations with some compromises. In that sense, this model is still one of the better options available.

I got this laptop open box on sale for around $1,064 with NO sales tax. I must say, i dont regret it. it's a beast. It might be better than my actual tower pc. The battery life is better than i expected. The noise levels, honestly, aren't too bad, and they have a good port selection. If the screen was a bit better and brighter, it would be 5 stars. But for the price i paid personally, it was worth every penny

Great little laptop! I use it for CAD instead of gaming which can really drag a computer down on intense drawings. This little computer hasn't had the slightest issues keeping up with that sort of task along with running other programs all at the same time.
Lots of things to love about this thing. For the price it packs a punch. Typing on it feels outstanding and I would even say, better than high end key boards in my opinion.
If I had one thing I would change about it, it would be the 4 keyboard keys that light up differently than the rest because the keys are a near translucent key. But obviously wasn't a deal breaker for me and now that I have had it for some time, that doesn't really bother me anymore.
If your debating this laptop as an option, I would say you wont regret it. Its a great running machine!

The laptop functions very well and the specs are fantastic. The display could be brighter in different environments but overall clear and responsive. The only issue seems to be compatibility issues with some games. I am getting disconnected while playing fairly non intensive games while my family members playing the same games and on the same wifi as me are not experiencing any difficulties. They have older laptops, they connect in different orders and yet still I experience connection issues.

This is a great laptop, especially for gaming. The performance is impressive thanks to the Intel Core i7 processor and 32GB of RAM — everything runs smoothly without lag. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card handles all the latest games really well, and the 165Hz screen makes everything look super fluid and sharp. The build quality feels solid, and the cooling system keeps it from overheating during long sessions. Overall, it’s a very solid choice for gamers. Highly recommended!

Loving this. So far it has handled everything that I throw at it, whether it is massive spreadsheets on multiple monitors or FO4. Only negative is how loud the fans can get.

This laptop works great. Added a 2nd nvme drive easily. But like all gaming laptops it eats battery life fast if it's not plugged in.

This computer is the price of a low to mid range computer, but it’s a beast. Even though I’ve been reading some fairly heavy games, I haven’t come across any issues with it yet. The only problem I’ve had is it really bad battery life, but as long as you keep it plugged in it’s fine.

Runs Games at Max Settings

I have tried just about every game I could think of with amazing graphics. It can play just about anything at max graphics settings and runs smoothly. There are some exceptions for games that are running ridiculously heavy visual mods like Kerbal Space Program, but it does an impressively good job in my inexperienced opinion. This is my first computer that can actually play games and it has completely passed my expectations. I was able to get maybe 2 hours on the battery playing cities skylines on a plane on just battery which is pretty good. Only downside to buying from Best Buy is you do not get Asus’s complimentary 1 year accidental damage protection. You instead have to pay a hefty yearly fee for Best Buys protection which equates to like $500 in three years.

Seems like a good laptop to use. Got it for college to use for gaming and for engineering. Battery does seem to go pretty fast when watching videos or gaming it does charge fast though. Runs a bit loud and at times is a little glitchy for such high specs. But is a good laptop in the market place.

An outstanding laptop if you're an rookie gamer looking to get into gaming. This laptop handles Warzone with little effort putting up 120+ FPS and World of Warships at 100+ FPS. The keyboard does take some getting used to because some of the keys are smaller than their larger keyboard partners. The battery seems to be solid but i haven't tried to see how long you could game on the battery. I think the monitor is great, but others might think its alright. Overall, very pleased with it and would recommend it.

As a cybersecurity professional, I require a system capable of running multiple virtual machines and supporting several monitors simultaneously. This laptop has exceeded expectations across all performance metrics. ASUS remains my brand of choice, and I confidently endorse this particular model for demanding technical environments. While gaming is not a priority for me, the GPU and CPU deliver exceptional power and stability for the complex workloads I manage.
