Customers recognize the TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 for its significant performance boost, excellent build quality, and great temperature control, even when under load. The card is also noted for its quiet operation and appealing aesthetics. Asus RTX 5080 TUF OC Review

The price is expensive for the performance you get but my RTX 3080ti died 3 weeks ago and this was the only card available to buy.
It performs excellent in games at 1440 p and good in native 4k.
I wished it is 24 gb of Vram to be more capable for 4k without MFG feature that comes with 5000 series.
I would recommend if you have the money.

Powerful Card, Runs Cooler Than My 3090

Runs much cooler than my EVGA 3090 did. Around 60C under load with normal esports time gaming (Marvel Rivals) and benchmark tests. Only real downside is it's MASSIVE so just make sure it will fit in your case and maybe consider getting a support/bracket for the card.

Going from a 1070 to this is the most amazing thing ever. Works flawlessly, and feels like a heavy, quality GPU. A little expensive though, I thought about going with a 5090 but then I saw that was 2x more than even this so stuck with it.

New GPU that runs more efficiently and gets better fps than my 3090ti. Doesn't make my room feel like a dry sauna compared to my old GPU.
Would definitely buy the 5070ti vs the 5080 simply cause the performance difference isn't much but the price difference is.
I got a discount being an open box GPU, so that's the only reason I bought this 5080

I know there’s more to use the 5080 than just gaming. This 5080 combined with a 9800x3D, my goodness. Never seen such stable fps in a cool minute. Averaging 220-240 frames on a 1440p. Just know if I’m in your lobby in cod for ranked, just hit the alt + f4 in the pregame lobby before you lose SR. I could finally play Minecraft without it being pixelated. So clear and smooth. It makes Roblox look like a circle. Bro, you have don’t understand, you have to get it. Lowkey was overpriced though, but I couldn’t keep playing on a 3060.

Its huge, but there are still a few small case options out there. The advantage of the big heatsink is that it always stays cool and quite. MSFS on quest 3 is beast.

What an upgrade

I upgraded from a 4070 to this 5080 and have noticed a significant improvement in performance. I am able to run all settings at max and get better than 80 FPS on all games I throw at it. If I drop a couple of tweaks, I am well over 120 for BF6 and the like. I realize this is not an insignificant purchase, but I am very happy with this and would recommend to anyone who is not strapped for cash.
On a side note, I used to order from New Egg exclusively but have been impressed by not only BestBuy's prices, but they have a good experience in store and with online orders for my pc parts.

The RTX 5080 TUF is an absolute monster – future-p

Upgraded from a 4080 to the ASUS TUF RTX 5080 and holy… the jump is insane. 4K 240 Hz with full path tracing + DLSS 4 in Black Myth Wukong and Cyberpunk looks unreal and stays above 120 fps. Temps never go above 68 °C even after hours of gaming thanks to that massive triple-fan cooler. Super quiet too – I barely hear it over my case fans.
Power draw is high but totally manageable with my 1000 W PSU. Frame Gen 4 + the new AI upscaling makes everything buttery smooth. Ray reconstruction is flawless now. Build quality is tank-level, love the reinforced backplate and the subtle RGB. If you want a card that will crush 2025-2028 games at max settings, this is it. ASUS killed it with the TUF version – worth every penny.

Works as intended. With v-sync on, the 5080 produces a lot less heat than my 3090 with much higher performance.

I recently purchased this TUF gaming OC 5080 from Best Buy as open box, it was less than MSRP. Once I got it home I tested the unit, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I got super lucky to be able to find this high-end GPU for the price. And I’m super happy with my purchase. The Unit is HUGE, you’re going to need a case that has at least 400mm of space for the GPU, so if you’re rocking a smaller case, I would skip on this one. Also, the recommended power supply is 850 W.

Beast of a card, beware of QC

Card is a beast. Fair warning that due to Nvidia's horrible QC and Asus's non-existent bin testing, you're at the mercy of the silicone lottery, regardless if you're buying a Prime, TUF or Astral.
Had to go through 6 TUF 5080s until I got a good bin. And the difference is night and day.
