Best bang for your buck gaming motherboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this motherboard a long time ago. Nicely Appointed-Able to be loaded up.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent versatile AMD motherboard whether you use mechanic hard drives, SSD’s, NVME M.2 or other solid state drive, this Board has the architecture to run it. The BIOS is easily accessible and can be configured to your liking. The board supports RGB lighting, extra fans and Gamer GPU. I rate this board as a middle of the road board, but it’s a great performer and the value is excellent with pricing. Unless you’re a pro gamer or a benchmark snob this board will serve you well.

A EASY KING
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super beginner friendly, took 30 minutes to build Pc and the BIOS update using AI suite was EASY. No USB flash backing needed. Just use armory crate software, download AI suit and use its easy updater for bios by downloading the bios zip file and extract to desktop. Mad easy and less worry

Good, but . . .
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good It seems like a sturdy board. At the moment, I only have cpu, gpu, blu-Ray, a couple HDDs, speakers, ethernet and ram plugged in. All of them seem to be working fine. I have not tested the WiFi or bluetooth yet. As I'm only using a few of the SATA ports, I can't guarantee they all work, but I assume so. The Bad Contrary to what ASUS says about this board requiring Windows 10 or Win 7 64-bit, that is NOT accurate. This board is not Win 7 friendly straight out of the box. Having only 1 PS/2 port, I plugged my keyboard into it and had my USB mouse in a USB slot. They both worked when I was in the BIOS settings. As soon as I moved into the OS, the mouse stopped working. NONE of the USB ports worked in Win 7. The LAN ports didn't work either. (My solution below). Also, I have 3600 RAM that was on the QVL for ASUS. It auto clocks at 2133. When I tried to set it to 3600 and rebooted, I received a black screen. I had to remove the battery and wait to reset it before I could get back into my computer. I'm kind of scared now to try to change it again. It is working, albeit at 2133 instead of 3600... so why did I pay more? Oh yeah, because ASUS said it would work. The board is also cramped. Other reviews will attest to this. My old ASUS mobo did not seem as bad. All the same, so far, my stuff fits. We will see what it is like after the new GPU comes in, Overall, it seems decent. I would have only taken off 1/2 a star if I could for the mistruth about Win 7. Though at the time, I cursed ASUS and called them every name in the book and made up a few just for them. SOLUTION Yes, I have it working with Win 7 now. I happened to have an extra HDD laying around. I HATE Windows 10. It is on 2 of my laptops. The 3rd laptop is running Win 8 (should have been called W8). Win 7 is by far the superior OS in my estimation. I loaded Windows 10 onto my extra disk and downloaded all the required drivers from ASUS. However, I chose the drivers for an x470 board instead of x570. I then changed boot order to my usual drive and used the keyboard to go through the control panel into devices and "updated" every driver required for USB and LAN to the old driver set. Et voila! it worked.

Solid x570
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had trouble picking an board for my new Ryzen 3rd gen build. But this unit has been solid. Liked the vrm setup. Feel like it will be plenty to run a 3950x when I got to upgrade later. Wish it had a header for a front USB c. Only downside I can find with this so far. Working great with my GTX 1070 and Ryzen 3600.

Great Performing Mobo for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this motherboard for awhile now and highly recommend it. Maintains a great overclock on my 3800x and in general is way more stable then a old x370 I use to have. It has all the bells and whistles of a higher costing x570 mobo but at a great price. Is definitely worth what they are charging for. After a year or so no stability issues and still has great performance probably will last me several years.

Replaced and Rewarded
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This would have probably received a 5 star but something very strange happened for me. My scenario: I am a brand new PC builder and was asking friends and family who are experienced in this field for some help and eventually I landed on this motherboard. I search Best Buy, Newegg, even PC Part Picker to look for prices and all basically the same so I decided to buy from Best Buy for my points. It’s Thursday when I buy this (among other items) but this item states it will be here the next day. The next day comes and I wait until 8:00pm before I received word that my item would be delayed until Monday now. Monday comes and I go to work and come home to find out my motherboard is waiting for me and I couldn’t be more excited. I see the package once I get inside and first noted where it came from...”Best Buy Returns”...so I think to myself...”Returns?? That couldn’t be correct...” but against my own best judgment I decided to use this MoBo to build my PC once I had everything I needed that Wednesday. I built my PC and tried to flip it on but it only got lights on the back of the MoBo in question and none of the QLED lights that tell you what’s wrong on the the MoBo worked so I knew something had to be wrong. I found a Best Buy near me with a few of these MoBo’s actually in stock so I exchanged it and told them about the “Returns” it came from and even they said that was very abnormal. Long story short (I know right? After I said all of this already?) I replaced it with an exact match and got it home and it worked perfectly. My PC is a beast now and benchmarks higher than 100% across the board. Lesson: Don’t buy online unless you HAVE to.

Paired it up with my 7 5800x
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best motherboards you can combine with the Ryzen AMD 7 5800x. Lots of features, only downside is if you’re using a Lian Li o11D evo the MOBO doesn’t come with the USB ports to fully utilize the case’s port abilities. You can still connect it, it will just default to the Motherboard’s standard USB version.

High end board for a not so high end price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality board, not at high end price. Love the heatsink over the m.2 - good placement of cables and RGB headers. Not alot of RGB itself on the board but just enough to have some. USB C is always a plus and wifi is ridiculously strong without the need for antenna but just added works. Recommend this for anyone not just beginners. Easy board to build with and great high end options.

Pro gaming at a reasonable cost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent motherboard for the Ryzen Gen 5! Using this board with my 5800X and 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM and it's screaming. Make sure you grab a NVMe drive and a decent video card if you're gaming and you'll be all set. ASUS has never let me down and this is no exception. Haven't used the WiFi yet but it's a nice backup should I ever need to, won't need an external adapter.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this motherboard because I wanted to find something with more value that could work with a 7 series Ryzen CPU, and I am extremely glad I chose this one. I haven't had a single issue with the motherboard, and for a first time builder it's a great starting point. I plan to use this motherboard until it dies out; highly recommended.

Decent motherboard in the "affordable" end of X570
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own several previous gen Ryzen boards from Asrock, MSI, Gigabyte and Asus. I have to say out of all of them, I prefer MSI's BIOS design and feature set and if you're looking for a bargain for Ryzen 2, pick up a B450 Tomahawk or Mortar instead. I obtained similar clock speeds on my 3700X and the memory support is just as good if not better. If you need PCI gen 4 then this isn't a bad option. Best VRM performance in this price range and can easily handle up to the 3950X. I'm not as keen on Asus BIOS design and several features are labelled differently (like XMP becoming DOCP) and there are several options listed multiple times over making (some of which seem to override the same setting made elsewhere). There is also some finickiness in setting things like ECO mode where it only becomes available if certain other options are made. My main issue with this board is the chipset fan - there is no 0% mode and the lowest fan speed is still audible (though to be fair, my system was tuned for around a 30dB noise floor which is pretty ridiculous). MSI and Gigabyte have competing options where the chipset fan disables when not needed. Mine also developed a fault where the onboard NIC and Wifi module stopped being recognized when switching between Linux and Windows, necessitating the need to use add-on cards. Overall, not a bad board if you can get it around $175 but if you don't need PCIE gen 4 or plan to use one of the 8 or 6 core processors you can save some money and get a good B450 board instead.

Great MoBo for Low to Mid range PC Builds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used this model for 2 PC builds Pro: - TUF / Military standard rugged quality - 2x NVME (1x with cooling plate) - WiFi (1.7 Gb/s, 2.4 and 5 GHz) - up to 128 GB RAM - little RGB strip (nice to know if PC has power) Con: - CPU power connectors (not sure if MoBo or PSU maker issue, cables would not fit as expected, had to revers) - none other observed at this time

Great MOBO!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great MOBO for any PC gaming build. I have a 3090 GPU with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, 32 GBs Corsair vengeance at 3600MHZ, running around 140-240 FPS on FPS games. Make sure to update the BIOS after install to the latest version which is super, if you try to run this with out of the box you will have issues and crashes.

All you really need in an X570 board.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The other boards have more features, but I found that this board, on paper at least, had everything I needed it to have. Okay, full disclosure... I had the 3900x in my cart and this was the only board Best Buy had that wasn't sold out. But i was relieved to see online folk recommending it in reviews. It works pretty well. I had no issues, save for having to deactivate wifi in the Bios to get Windows to install. That took longer than it should have to figure out, but I'm not an expert at this stuff. This was my first non-Intel build. Despite the early-adopter beta-testing stuff, the experience has been relatively painless.

Great Board! One of the best for the price range!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Board is great. Currently running: - 32 GB ddr 3200 - 5900x - RTX 3070 FE - 500 GB M2 SSD This board is great. The Bios has a lot of tweaking options for a nerd like me. Also integrates well with ASUS's AMOURY CRATE, but struggles with 3rd party tools like Corsair's iCue. RGB headers if you need to have the lighting effects.
