Customers are saying

Customers admire the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard's performance, ease of use, and BIOS, frequently citing its strong Wi-Fi capabilities and excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the user-friendly setup and the inclusion of useful features. However, some users express concern regarding the lack of a USB-C header and the placement of the chipset fan, which can be obstructed by certain graphics cards. Good am4 motherboard. The included rgbs on the motherboard, support for all the am4 processors and the wifi chip make this board worth it.

The other boards have more features, but I found that this board, on paper at least, had everything I needed it to have. Okay, full disclosure... I had the 3900x in my cart and this was the only board Best Buy had that wasn't sold out. But i was relieved to see online folk recommending it in reviews. It works pretty well. I had no issues, save for having to deactivate wifi in the Bios to get Windows to install. That took longer than it should have to figure out, but I'm not an expert at this stuff. This was my first non-Intel build. Despite the early-adopter beta-testing stuff, the experience has been relatively painless.

Board is great. Currently running: - 32 GB ddr 3200 - 5900x - RTX 3070 FE - 500 GB M2 SSD This board is great. The Bios has a lot of tweaking options for a nerd like me. Also integrates well with ASUS's AMOURY CRATE, but struggles with 3rd party tools like Corsair's iCue. RGB headers if you need to have the lighting effects.

Not much to say about it. Great rear I/O, has all the expansion slots you'll ever need, enough room for a bulky air cooler. The only issues I have with the board is that modern GPUs will block off the chipset fan and there is no usb-c header for the front panel.

Excellent motherboard with lots of features, and plenty of options in the BIOS to suit nearly any needs. I've been using ASUS motherboards for years and have almost never had any issues. If you need an AM4 motherboard for one of the Zen 2 processors with X570 chipset, this will tick all the boxes.

The board fit perfectly in the Corsair case and bolted in easily. The pinouts were easy to follow and I had the whole thing put together in about 2 hours. I've been running this for a month or so with absolutely no problems. The BIOS is intuitive and the graphical interface is cleanly laid out. There is a reason I always choose ASUS.

Pretty straightforward 570 board with some great features. Led strip is cool and controllable with Aura Sync, 5v addressable rgb header has a pump header for an aio cooler, lots and lots of fan headers, usb-c, wifi works great. No issues in setup, I've seen bios update issues before with these boards, but I haven't experienced any!

Everything booted fine and loaded Bios fine. They layout is a ok but the only issue when using M2 slot it disables the sata 1,2 ports. This is not an issue for me but if you have use for all the ports be prepared to not utilize them. BIOS layout and option are clean with plenty of adjustments, the wifi is stable as well.

Bought it in a pinch to fix a non working pc. My itch is that being 2019 board it had its software irks and lacking of ports. The first big itch was that the firmware was out of date so I tried to update and the software didn't recognize the file (with/without the rename).I had to install their package from the website since the best buy cases had no front drive slots and then I had to cross my fingers and force it. My 2nd really big itch was that it didn't have front gen 3.2 ports for my case bought with it( my case had a type a and an non usable type C). It also had less back ports than my last intel build which led me to buy a small hub to keep from holding all the ports. The good positive was in a rush to set up a usable pc it did run the most recent amd chip that best buy offered at the time and ran it smooth enough for the end user not to complain till I got the software kinks out. I do not think I will buy this specific model for myself when I start planning my next build but being "gaming" its got more then enough pep under the hood to get tasks done and without irks.

Board is fantastic, but has some small issues with it that are notable, but not enough to deduct a star. Out of the box is was compatible with Ryzen 5000 series, specially in this case a 5600X. No BIOS update needed! It doesn't have flashback, be aware of that though. The Wi-fi is reliable, no problems installing Windows through a SATA connected either. The ARGB is only on the lower right side of the board and doesn't turn off when you power down, only when you disconnect power from the PSU to the board. You can program the lights in software/bios, but that's kind of annoying. GPU blocks the fan on the motherboard, that's not the greatest. I would be on the edge of recommending this fully if it was anymore than it is, but it has the works + wi-fi. There are newer boards than this in the TUF line up, I'd also look for those. This is quite good and not a bad choice. I did not have the issue of needing to disable Bluetooth and wi-fi to install windows and then update the drivers to re-enable those features.

This has held up for 2.5 years now - have replaced RAM and GPU in that time, no issues, ports are all robust / not flimsy like half the other brands msi etc. Will most likely stick with ASUS motherboards moving forward.

I got this board when it was $10off - very competitive price for x570 chipset, almost in the same range as some b550s. This board has Realtek NIC which has less problems than Intel IVT. I looked up online before buying and seen a lot of negative reviews of IVT NIC chips to the point when multiple sites saying Stay Away. There is ax200 Wifi/BT5 module from Intel is installed under the ports cover but that one is standard and used everywhere including laptops and it works just fine. Works fine with 5800x/2×8 Ballistix 3200/SATA SSD plus Inland NVME pciex3/rtx3080 F.E. Probably only one complain is that upper M.2 slot has no heatsink and you rely on NVME with its own cooling solution, adding the second heatsink would be nice.

Bought this MB as the base for my first try at a personal desktop build, very happy with this product. Directions/guides are straight forward, easy to follow, and cover all topics necessary for a beginner or advanced builder. Very sturdy board, heat sinks are solid, all parts (screws/connectors) included are well made. I installed AMD Ryzen 5 3600, (2) M.2 SSD cards, (2) Corsair Vengeance 3600 Hz RAM, EVGA GeForce 1660 SC Ultra, and Corsair 650W power wrapped inside an NZXT 500i Elite case. Overall extremely happy with this motherboard and how it compliments my mid-grade build. This MB provides space for future expansion (only thing missing is a USB-3.1 type C connection). Onboard BIOS was already up-to-date; TUF system BIOS interface was straight forward. Clean look with 95% of the options/capabilities you would want in a mid-grade board. Absolutely would recommend for anyone looking to build a modular/affordable PC.

This motherboard look even better when you have it. The Tuf gaming motherboard is great for budget pc, but just bc it cheap doesn’t mean the performance is bad, is actually the opposite, it amazing. I would recommend any to start looking at this motherboard and buy it.

I don't care for RGB so I can't speak to issues others may have had there. As far as performance and stability this thing has been rock solid so far for gaming and development. Love all the features and the forward compatibility. A little on the pricey side but a worthwhile investment.

Good motherboard. Works like it should. Easy to install and layout is pretty easy to see. The RBG aren’t too intense so if you’re looking for something that is super flashy this might not be the one, but I like it a little low key. Has a little bit of RBG.

Good Value - Research Freezing Issue Before Buying

I purchased this motherboard as an emergency back-up replacement to my ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero x570 motherboard, which died 12/16/2021 after only 10 months of time. This motherboard was one of the cheapest X570 motherboards that I could personally verify at the store had a BIOS version ready for Ryzen 5000. NOTE: If you have a Ryzen 5000 CPU and purchase this motherboard online, there is a chance it may come with a BIOS version that is not ready to support it. In-store, you can verify Ryzen 5000 readiness by looking for a sticker on the motherboard. It is likely most motherboards purchased online by this point will have the required BIOS for Ryzen 5000, but if you wish to verify this, you would have to see the box in-store. If you do receive a board that has an old BIOS, this motherboard does NOT support BIOS flashback, which means you would need to install a compatible CPU (Ryzen 3000) to load the new BIOS for your Ryzen 5000 CPU. AMD offers a loaner program for this, if you do not have a friend to borrow a CPU from, but you may be asked by AMD to go through ASUS first to see if you can send the board back to them to flash it for you. This would be a headache, so if this is remotely a concern for you, I would recommend going in-store for this purchase. The motherboard is as-advertised and does everything it needs to do. My components transferred into the motherboard and booted up perfectly the first time. The only tweaks needed were for RAM frequency which were adjusted in BIOS easily and gave no trouble. The motherboard manual is fairy detailed and was able to answer everything I needed to know regarding installation. The reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars is that I have had two very odd freezes since putting my components into the system. The first freezing happened on the desktop while I was away from the computer. The screen locked onto the desktop, system time was frozen at the time of the crash, and I could not move the mouse. The second time the computer froze I returned to my computer while it was on the desktop and found that the system time was frozen, but this time I could move the mouse. I tried clicking on various applications and nothing would respond. After researching, there are some threads out there online that discuss this motherboard having freezing issues. I am fairly confident it has to be the board software and not any other part of my system, because I have observed no other defects on windows or crashes while doing more intensive tasks. The freezes are very, very intermittent (on the order of 2 weeks+), so I will have to monitor for increases of frequency. It is a minor inconvenience at this point, but is noted so that you can do your own research prior to making the purchase. If I could go back in time I think I would have gone for a Gigabyte board if I had not been in a pickle for getting a board quickly.
