Who knew you could buy this adapter to "convert from 2G to 5G"? We upgraded our home internet to 5G network and discovered the laptop could only run on 2G (or slower). Bought the adapter, and WOW, simple. No issues. 5G all the time.

I bought this adaptor because I bought a new computer and it didn’t have built in wireless LAN card. I wanted something small, yet performs like a beast and this was the perfect solution. I’m happy with my choice and would recommend this product to anyone in need.

Purchased this for a laptop that had a failure of the internal WiFi card. Plugged it in, no additional drivers were needed, and it works. Good speeds, low profile and easy install.

I have an older laptop with older Wi-Fi, found it wasn't connecting to my new Wi-Fi system. Found out it wasn't compatible anymore due to the new Wi-Fi 6 standards. I needed a cheap small dongle to get it working again and found This Asus adaptor and plugged in and worked right away without any drivers or setup hassles.

I bought this product because my PC didn’t have WiFi built in! Works flawlessly and I can play games with no issues!

My ten year old Lenovo ThinkPad is still going strong with no issues, then the internal network adapter suddenly failed. I took it to Best Buy for a Geek to troubleshoot. He did a wifi settings reset and said if that didn't correct the problem, I should try using a USB network adapter. The reset didn't help. I purchased the ASUS Dual Band AC1200 and the wifi signal is again operating as normal. Easy install, just plug in and turn on wifi. Desk space is at a premium for me, and this little dongle takes up no space.

When I built my desktop PC, I had no idea I'd ever need WiFi to get internet service. The Best Buy associate suggested this device and I was thrilled with how easy it was to set up; and it is more than equal to the high speeds we are getting.

When my Dell laptop prematurely failed with its wireless adaptor and was unable to be fixed within a reasonable price range, Best Buy suggested this simple plug in fix for under $30! Works perfectly and so appreciative!

Due to Covid 19 , I had to start working from home. The desktop they sent us home with did not have wireless internet. Yes, I said desktop. I plug the card in and bam it work like magic. I started working immediately

Plug in, start huffing! Got this to create a Hotspot for a local network without buying a router. It works very well, is fast, just the small size causes it to get quite warm if a lot of data is being transferred. Definitely running this only in a cold environment, and only for short times under full load. Built in Laptop WiFi works for everything else just fine. Little product improvement though, a possible connection for an external WiFi antenna, as the reach is limited (but sufficient for my tasks)

Easy to install right out of the box and connected to our wifi right away. I'm very impressed with the signal strength it can get! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a Wireless adapter!

Adapter works great straight out of the box. I did have times where I had to unplug / plug it back in to get it working. It also gets really warm after extended or intensive use. Overall pretty happy with it.

Low profile, great range and idea for laptops and PC's. the low profile design allows the adapter to stay plugged in even if the laptop has to be put in a laptop bag.

ASUS always makes excellent stuff and this is no exception. Installed automatically and easily on Win 10 without need of extra drivers. Connected first time with no problem. The compactness of the unit is a plus as it allows for use with a laptop.
