My laptop network card was taking a dump I was lucky if I had 20 to 25 megabits when I was supposed to be hitting 200 megabits. I installed this and disabled by Network tcard. Now I'm getting between 190 and 200 megabits per second. If you're paying for those high speeds and you're not getting them on your laptop this is the way to go.

Plugged into my computer and Windows 10 saw it immediately didn't have to install anything. Very reasonable price too.

Added this to a desktop that it's wifi card had died, this has better reception and it's faster than the wifi it replaced, it screams fast and never disconnects, great product!!!

I purchased this product because my computer had some difficulties updating to Windows 10. After taking my computer to the geek squad, their assessment was my current wifi equipment had a conflict with Windows 10 so I had to purchase a new wifi product. After purchasing this item, my computer updated and worked just like new again. The price was more than reasonable and it gave me back my computer. In my eyes, it was well worth it.

Asus products are always fair priced and just works. I don't feel like I have to jump through hoops. I recommend this adapter to anyone who needs an excellent product.

This adapter is one of the smallest on the market. I don't need to be concerned of my kids pulling this one out of the usb port. Now i can connect on my 5G wifi! It's a huge difference in speed!

Easy setup and surprisingly fast. Doesn't affect PCs visually

This is the kind of product that you never want to have to think about, and that's what ASUS has delivered. This WiFi adapter simply works, first time and every time... and in fact I'd forgotten it was even there. I have a solid WiFi signal in the room where it is used so I can't comment about its ability when the signal is weaker, or in a situation in which the machine is moved around. Nonetheless, it is fast and reliable for me and was a good value.

Bought this device after having issues staying connected after updating my Dell laptop to Windows 10. Works great for my needs. I am a casual user who typically only reads email and surfs the web.

Had an older computer that needed to add WiFi access to, this is perfect. Small, not bulky, reliable and easy to setup. A quick and simple solution to my problem.

I got this for a desktop to make it wifi capable. For $30 this is a great value, very easy installation and the tiny size makes it almost invisible.

If you desperately need wifi, for basic tasks, and you're in the same room as your router? This little guy is great. Basically plug-and-play, the only trouble is needing to download the drivers for installation. But otherwise it is exactly what you'd expect. It's a little USB dongle, you plug it in, you can connect to wi-fi. Here's why I only give 2 stars: the connection was terrible and the speeds were not at all what were advertised. Now! I do admit: I use my PC for gaming and watching live-stream videos, in a separate part of the house than the router. I had already been having issues with connectivity with my PC's built-in wifi adapter, and this was a quick potential fix. It DID get me immediately online, but the download speeds were *abysmal* and over the course of a week of testing this device, I had more and more disconnects and lag. Websites taking a while to load, gifs not displaying, videos CONSTANTLY freezing. My internet one day was disconnecting every 2-3 minutes to the extent I barely had internet at all. I've since bought and installed an actual new wi-fi adapter card inside my PC and it's infinitely better thanks to the two antennae and just stronger hardware overall. So this little guy will work in a pinch, and for a casual user who is looking for the easiest setup and is located close to their router? This probably would be perfect. But if you're a heavy user and/or located farther from your router, this may not be what you need.

This USB dongle works great I just wish they still came with installation CDs since the primary use of these is usually getting Wi-Fi on an older PC. So just make sure you can download the installation files on the flash drive first before you go and install this USB Wi-Fi adapter
