Due to the fact that the computer I have no longer recognized the internet, the geek squad recommended this gadget. You plug it in and you once again have internet in a much faster fashion than what the computer used to do. I certainly recommend this as it works.

It really easy to install and works perfectly. It just a great size for my laptop and didnt occupy a lot of space on the side of usb port.

Does what its suppose to but it doesn't stay connected the whole time like I'm constantly having to reconnect sometime even take it out and put it back in to connect

I have never heard about this product until I visited Best Buy. My wireless features disappeared on my computer when I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Best Buy suggested this product as a quick fix, and it works perfectly fine. I love it and it definitely beats a long wired cord running across my office floor that was plugged into my internet box. Great product, great pricing. I have no regrets. I am enjoying my wireless internet (wifi) on my computer.

the box this came in was pretty much smashed..it is still wrapped and sealed in the plastic.. so the cd that came with this is bent..no surprise, so i went online and download the setup.exe and all went well..the link to download the software is not accurate, gotta spend few minutes to get the right setup file. Other than that.. Performance is great so far.

So far, this has fixed my wifi problem caused by the latest Windows update.

I bought this to replace a free standing adapter. It was very easy to install and Windows 10 recognized it immediately. The only free USB port I had was on the back of my computer which is next to an exterior wall. My router is in another room about 20 feet away and this adapter does not pull in the signal as strongly as the free standing one did. It functions OK but because it doesn't pick up the signal as well my internet slows down when I have a large volume of data. I would recommend it for a computer that is within 10 or 15 feet of the router or in the same room but for a desktop that has several walls and some distance between the computer and the router I would suggest getting a free standing receiver that has its own base and can be moved around a little to get a better signal.

Great add on for a computer I had to take home to work remotely. Easy to install and fast.

Adapter recommended by store associate and even stated he would have bought this model if it was available at the time. Installation was a snap with Win10 on my son's system build with an ASUS MB, 16GB memory. Wanted this as a back-up to his wired CAT5 connection since he is always on his system for college. Connection speed is close to wired connection on 5GHz band. Hard to believe this small device works so good. You could also install this on a laptop with the small 1/4 inch amount it extends from the case. Happy with purchase.

Simply plug and play. The range is amazing, much better than I thought it would be. I would recommend it for an apartment or small home.
