Five stars because it worked as it was supposed to with no troubleshooting. Can’t believe how small it is. We have average wi-fi speed in our house, so I can’t speak to any speed improvement. But I can say this network adapter is two floors up from the base unit and still grabs the wi-fi signal just fine. We haven’t had any dropped signal in the month we’ve been using it. I’m unhappy that I had to buy this simply because Best Buy couldn’t honor the valid extended warranty on the old adapter that failed (protocol not in place due to covid-19 circumstances). Based on what I’ve been told by customer service, they will make it right once stores and personnel are back in action.

This USB dongle works great I just wish they still came with installation CDs since the primary use of these is usually getting Wi-Fi on an older PC. So just make sure you can download the installation files on the flash drive first before you go and install this USB Wi-Fi adapter

needed this for a work desktop. Connects to hotspot and wifi without issue. Installed easily.

Worked as advertised. It took an older laptop that only had N-spec Wifi and boosted typical speed tests from 30-40 Mbps to 100-110 Mbps. We are using it on an older Core i3 laptop, but now we can use it for my grade school daughter's Zoom e-learning calls without any issues. The item was pretty much plug and play, but you have to have some know how to disable the built-in wifi card and use this USB dongle instead.

Excellent reception, good speed and really inexpensive product

Adding WiFi to my old 386 computer was necessary after it was moved from my home office to my basement. Previously it was a wired connection, but when my wife had to start working from home, I had to vacate the room with the connection. I was skeptical that this usb WiFi adapter would work two floors below my router. It works flawlessly! I recommend this to anyone looking to add wireless connection to their computer.

It does what it’s supposed to do .., easy install...it’s compact....still using.... getting a few more for some clients

Bought this to see if my uncle's old desktop can be connected to Personal Hotspot. The package came with a small disc, so make sure you have a CD drive to easier install this device's driver. As long as you installed as instructed, the device is ready to use once plugged in. For your information, I have no trouble connecting my desktop to my personnel hot spot from the phone. This is the greatest thing that works and comes in this convenient size.

We use this in a room that is far away from our router and it works perfectly. There is no lag or buffering when watching videos.

I need a second wireless connection so I can connect to two different networks at one time. The Asus AC1200 Adapter works perfectly for my needs on Windows 11 laptop. No special drivers or software needed. Just insert in USB slot, wait 3 seconds for laptop to recognize it, then connected to the network with no issues!
