very compact, however setup was a nightmare, requiring phone contact, who wasn't skilled enough. terminology is inconsistent and ambiguous.

It is perplexing when the signal strength by a laptop is 175 mbps (read with iPhone) yet the laptop shows one bar and drops the signal. I can only guess that the HP pavilion laptop wifi receiver is poor. So I tried this which is easy to install. It shows up as WIFI2. It effectively adds one extra bar of strength which does the job, but is not impressive.

Very happy with this adapter overall. Love the tiny size, and had no difficulty in installing the software and drivers for it. It may not have the range of a PCIE adapter, but it saves from taking up a PCIE slot in your motherboard if you have only a few slots.

Works Great! I didn't know about network adaptors. After speaking with others who know about tech, I took their advise, purchased this one and I'm glad I did.

Work great, plugged right in and worked immediately

Works really well! Just plugged it in(if it doesn’t work the first time, try again) and it connects! It’s a strong connection and I’ve never had any issues Great for value!

I had one for an additional desktop computer in a room without wifi or ethernet access. It worked good. Then I had a problem with the wifi adapter in my office desktop computer. I installed another one of these external adapters, created another wifi access, and it works great. Consistent and very few disconnects. It saves me a lot of frustration.

Bought this one to replace previous one I had break on me after my internal one broke on my laptop. It came with a disk to install the drivers vs my last one (different brand) just needed to go online to download drivers. Not a huge deal just one more thing to keep track of for it if I ever want to install on another computer. Other than that works great no issues after 6+ months of use.

Lightning struck mother's house and destroyed her network card for her PC. Instead of having to drive over and re-install a new Ethernet card I bought this for her and told her to plug it into the front of her PC. She's happy internet working again. Didn't get a chance to speed test it but for simple web surfing it gets the job done.

The product is good for its price but the only thing about this product i dont like about was how hot it gets when my pc runs during work activities or when im gaming on my off time

This adapter has made my computer work so well-keeps my internet connection! I would recommend this and would purchase again. It solved my connectivity problem and I spent $$$ and hours with Dell trying to solve the problem-plugged the adapter in and problem solved; could have saved a lot of time and money if I had this first.

Very good wireless networking adapter. I really like the small size for use in a laptop. The built-in adapter quit working, and this replacement worked perfectly! And yes, you can still get drivers for windows vista, even though they're not on the website. I really like the small size so it won't break off so easy.
