Network Adapter Installation

I bought the Asus AC-1200 Network Adapter and installed it. Installation was reasonably easy and it worked well immediately. Problem solved.

Works fabulously for remote working

Once we got it installed and working though, it has been a lifesaver for having a second computer to access while doing remote work during COVID. Have not had connectivity issues even when our internet has gone out a few times - it has reconnected instantly once the service s back up.

Tiny and works perfectly

It’s tiny but works as intended. After installing ran a speed test. It hits 150 Mbps downloading speed which is the designated speed for my internet service.

Tiny but mighty adapter

I didn't want to get the same one again though because we were planning on upgrading our modem and router. So, I went into my local Best Buy and found this little guy on sale. It has all the specs I need in order to use our wireless router to its full potential and it's been amazing so far!

Great way to add or upgrade wifi

I have used other USB Wifi devices, but always end up breaking them, either by dropping the laptop or using it on the bed and bending the dongle by lifting the laptop by its side. So basically, I needed a Wifi adapter that didn't "stick out". This device fit the bill perfectly. I am getting consistent connection service and the range is fine.
