It did the job. My old computer was slowing down on the WiFi. I was losing reception. This little gadget did the trick. Picked up WiFi and boosted my reception and I stopped getting thrown off -- or left behind. No problem hooking up. Plug and go.

Good small size. Literally just plugged in and it gave me internet. Did not need to change anything in order for it to work. I wanted a pcie one which they did not have but luckily this was available and cheaper.

I bought this for my fiancé for his computer so he doesn’t have to run the wire across the room and he tried another one previously that didn’t work very well but this one has worked perfect so far and hasn’t cut out once. Needed Wi-Fi on an old laptop for a very special reason, this product was hard to find but easy to install and Best Buy was perfect to I have it in stock. Small and compact and price was extremely reasonable.

Works as described. You just have to make sure you read the instructions and install the drivers first, either from the supplied CD or by downloading them. It is not 'plug n play' w/o installing the drivers.

Found out by purchasing and returning a few other WiFi adapters that most do not actually let you use 5GHz due to a Windows 10 update from early 2017. (Other products do not mention this, since they did work at the time their packaging/instructions came out.) Most people don't care and are happy with 2.4GHz, but I purchased this specifically for 5.0GHz. The chipset in this Asus device is not bothered by that W10 update, and it is less expensive than the other WiFi adapters I purchased and tried to force to work. We do find we have to reconnect the WiFi signal every few days, though we haven't confirmed that this device is at fault for that.

Easy to install, and gives a big speed boost to my aging laptp.

Was very easy to install. Bought to replace internal wireless card that was not working consistently. Installed this usb wireless and the same thing happened. Problem was with windows 10 update not the network card.
