My laptop, for the most part stays connected to the wifi connection now. Every once in a while it'll disconnect, but no where near as often as it did prior to purchasing the Asus adaptor.

I was in a bind setting up internet at a new apartment where I could not run a line to the bedroom where I would have my computer. This device works great. I just got a 500Mbps connection and with my good nighthawk router broadcasting wifi from the living room I am able to get the full speeds in my bedroom, actually 550Mbps.

Fantastic. My mother’s computer hasn’t lost WiFi signal since I put this on her computer over a week ago. She was losing signal every day in her apartment that has a building WiFi system.

Needed this to add wifi to a windows 7 PC, easy install with included CD

I needed a plug-n-play solution for a work-owned computer that I do not have permissions to install software or drivers on. I ignored the instructions which tell you to install the drivers from CD and plug in the device an put it right in the USB slot, Instant Internet!

The WiFi on my computer had stopped working due to some internal hardware issues. This was an quick and inexpensive fix. The installation software came with the network adapter on a small disc and installation was quick and easy. Now whenever my WiFi goes down I switch over to this USB adapter and the WiFi is just as fast.

Works as described with no drivers or anything extra needed. Plug and play with windows 10

Very easy set up. In spite of a long distance between the router and the computer, the WiFi signal is very strong.

easy to set up, no connection issues at all. Not sure what others reporting slow speed and/or loss of connection are doing but I have 2 of these connected to machines in different parts of the house (a large 2 story)and I have had no issues whatsoever.

It's not special, but it works! Simple and very easy, can provide near-immediate dual band connectivity with just a Type A USB port.

I have an old laptop that I use for email, creating documents and occasionally browse through websites. It was slow in loading pictures, so I bought and plugged in this USB network adapter. Going through The website got faster but not fast enough for my curiosity. I guess I'm due for a new laptop.

I was needing a new one for my computer so I could have faster and stable internet connection. This little Asus fits great on the back of the computer and connects to my network so I'm able to play mmo's without a problem! It's very easy to use and works like a charm.

Its alright for what it is. I didnt find it to really help and the signal wasn't all too great. I had forgot to add a wifi card to my gaming rig when i had it built, which i forgot that wifi cards are an add on not automatic on all motherboards. So i got this thinking it would be better than just plugging a ethernet cable in. Well even with my high speed internet, i wasnt pulling a lot to my pc, so i decided to return the item and just went with an extra long ethernet cable. I also ordered and installed a wifi card myself for the pc but even with the wifi card, i wasn't getting the max signal which has to do more with the layout of my house than anything. So i just kept with my ethernet cable and used my wifi card for bluetooth.

This is a fine little piece of equipment. My previous one broke and the association recommended this to replace it and it works great for the extra “boost” I need for my desktop.

Works well. I had to keep resetting the wifi in my laptop to maintain a connection (guess its been beat up a bit over the years) but this USB adapter lets me stay connected just fine. It's pretty low profile, so it doesn't get caught on anything.
