I have an oldie but goodie computer. 12+ years old desktop. It still is humming along fine and have always had it hardwired in. I recently moved my office area around and wondered if there was something out there that would get a wifi signal to this older computer so I didn't have to string a cable for tens of tens of feet. Sure enough, found this on Best Buy site, and gave it a try. I'm about 50 feet away now from my router and am getting fine wifi connection. No interruption of signal at all.

After purchasing my son a custom built PC for Christmas. We had to go pick this up at best buy the following day (as soon as they were open) he could not operate his PC without it. He uses this daily and loves it. It worked exactly as its supposed to. The reviews were great and we are very happy with the choice we made in selecting this product. Best buy made it easy to pick up. I parked and called them within 2 minutes they were delivering it to my vehicle. Highly recommend this product. We used with an Ironside brand custom built PC

Greta WiFi adapter at a fairly good price. It was automatically recognized by Windows 10 and didn't require any software to be installed to use. Speed and range are also excellent considering it's small form factor.

Setting up this plug-and-play WiFi adapter was a breeze! Just plugged it in and instantly connected to the internet. No fuss, no hassle. It's so easy to use, and now I enjoy seamless WiFi wherever I go. Highly recommend this user-friendly device for hassle-free connectivity!

I got this on sale for only 1999. I was expecting an extension cord. The only thing this came with was the tiny little USB dongle and a mini CD with drivers on it. I expected a USB cable with a female and to plug it into, as it is a little bit wide and sometimes prevents other devices for being plugged into the USB port next to it. I upgraded the internal hard drive on my MacBook Pro to an SSD, and in the process, damage the cable to the Wi-Fi card internally. In the meantime while I am waiting for the replacement cable to arrive, I bought this. In the past when I have used these types of products, I have noticed a difference in speed, and very often with Mac OS X, there are no official drivers, and you have to discover what the chipset is and then go on that manufacturers website to try to match up drivers that may or may not work. The disc that it came with included drivers for windows, Mac, and Lijux. It also included Mac OS X drivers going all the way back to 10.8, which I was psyched about because I have dual partitions and run an older version of iOS X because of software that is still good. Luckily, this dongle is very short and does not jet out very far from the USB port. I have had others in the past they did, that were made a very cheap plastic. They always broke very quickly. I think the manufacturer should consider including a cable extension. As much as I think putting a CD in with a product is a waste, and a stupid way to increase carbon footprint, in this case I was grateful considering I did not have Internet access on my laptop due to the internal Wi-Fi card not working. I think $20, even on sale, is a little steep for this tiny little unit. I bet I could’ve ordered the same thing online and paid about 40% less. But I needed it in a pinch and they had it there. Again, I would never have considered paying the normal $30 retail price, but on sale, it was acceptable.

My daughter has an older computer. We needed it to be wifi ready. The Asus network adaptor is the perfect choice. It works well and reasonable price. Best Buy had the best price. Plug and play is easy.

I have to admit I was skeptical on how a very small plug-in could replace an adapter card, but it does! This is one of those little devices that delivers exactly what is promised. Very simple to implement - just follow the documentation. You're up and running in less than four minutes. I would highly recommend this device to anyone.

Great signal and easy to setup. Windows for the USB WiFi and away it went. Doesn't stick out to far, so we're able to leave it plugged into the USB port on the laptop with out any issues.

For a small adapter for AC wifi, this adapter works great. My house it's about 100 ft and few a few walls and does not have any issues. It does get a little hot but for such a small package it should do anyone great.

I needed this adapter for connecting to my 5ghz internet one floor down. The signal strength was great and the speeds were comparable to wired. However, the device is prone to overheating and sometimes I've had to reset it in order to get it working again. After one month of use, now the speed and stability has deteriorated and I can't use it to play online games or use voice chat. Wasn't quite worth the $40 I paid.

This is a great product. It works fast with my internet and was easy to install. You will need a disk drive or a way to connect to the internet to get this to work. Excellent way to create a fast wifi connection. I download/play games and stream videos and I have never ran into any issues.

This came in handy when my Dell laptop updated and made the wifi adapter unusable. Dell could not help me get the wifi adapter up and running so I purchased this until i can attempt to dive deeper in to why it's not working. The guys at Geek Squad says this happens alot when Dells update. This has been working well since I bought it. It's slim and fits snug against the USB port so as not to stick out and get hung up on everything.

Great wireless adapter in such a small package. I don't notice a difference in speed on other devices with more robust antennas. Asus has done a good job packaging this and the fact that it's plug-and-play makes setup a breeze. It takes up a USB port, so if you're limited on port selection, you might need a hub, but that's the only drawback I can think of.

It's tiny but works surprisingly well. I've got it sitting around the corner and about 15 feet from the wireless router. No problems. Speed is good.

I was a little skeptical about this product solving my problems with my Zoom meetings, my connection was always glitchy and said my internet was unstable. I called my internet provider and they suggested I get a USB dual band wi-fi adapter to convert my laptop from 2G to 5G, and that would pretty much solved my problem. Although the first time that I was on Zoom afterward, I did get that unstable internet signal again, but after that I haven't had any problems since. I guess it took a couple of times for my laptop to adjust (just my assumption). This product did the job and was reasonably priced.

I had been using my grandmother’s old home computer but its internet functionality stopped working. After trying everything, I figured I’d give this little gadget a try. It worked immediately! I didn’t have to download any software, just plugged it in and the computer was able to pick up network signals again. I should have started with this, it would have saved so much time. Nevertheless, very happy with this purchase!

Speed is good, easy to use, compatible with different os, buUuUutTt windows os wont auto detect/install... you need to install the cd driver that comes with it and in 2023 now one has a cd driver anymore, it should be plug and play... therefore 3*** only :(

Easy install, setup, and use. Will pick up both of my networks, works on dual band. Does not drop signal, and have not experienced any lack in speed over time. Have not had to reset the adapter during use.
