For the price point and the overall size of this dongle, it's very good. There are some compatibility issues with Linux distributions, however. If you really know Linux well, it's a non-issue, but I would advise newcomers to really do some research on other units if they're planning on using Linux. If you're just looking for something simple to add range to a sub-par laptop receiver or to a motherboard without built-in wi-fi; this is perfect. If you don't mind something a little bulkier, though, there are better options available.

My wifi antenna wasn't working properly and this was the fix that was recommended. It was a great price, and I got a Best Buy member discount too. This device is small and unobtrusive and fixed my problem, which was that my laptop recognized other wifi networks but not my own, so that I could not get on my internet.

I did not know such a thing existed, and it helped me survive the final days of my old computer.

Works perfectly, no issues and immediately decreased my lag, easy to install.

Helped turn my wife's non-wifi computer to wifi and it works fantastic at a great price

After moving to a new place, I needed to be able to receive Wi-Fi on my computer as I could no longer use the ethernet cable and I didn't want to install anything complicated. This little thing was a quick, cost-effective solution and works perfectly. My computer is now Wi-Fi enabled.

It works!! That is a plus. I bought this because my internet card failed. It worked fast and easy from the beginning. I am detecting some slowness now, but I cannot determine if is due to computer issues or WiFi issues. Will be moving in a month so I will know more when I move my computer to a new environment.

It works great. It was easy to install and set up. There's three walls between the device and the router.

This adapter works great even. I got one for my son's PC and he never has any networking issues even on a different floor of the house.

Works very well, have noticed that it tends to get a little hot over time which may start to affect the performance if used for an excess amount of time, but other than the speeds run great was able to run a hotspot to my laptop and it was running at 5G 560mgph

Great little Adapter to connect your old laptop to the new 5G Routers that Spectrum is placing now. Thought we would have to downgrade the router or upgrade the laptops, but this item has been working great. Easy to set up and get working.

I bought a high-end VR ready computer but needed to connect it with Wifi because my office is some distance from our internet modem. My new computer had an ASUS motherboard so I thought an ASUS wifi adapter would be the most compatible with it. I found this ASUS USB wifi adapter and I liked how small and unobtrusive it was. I installed the driver first as instructed then plugged in the adapter. It was immediately recognized by Windows 10 and I was back on the grid in just a couple of minutes!

Gets good signal and easy to install drivers. If you don’t have a disc drive to install the mini disc then check YouTube on your phone if you don’t know how. Good for computers without a wireless network card
