Plug and play, easy to use and takes up minimal space. Asus usb network adapter works fine and has solved my Wi-Fi concerns. I would highly recommend this product to those who need a Wi-Fi adapter.

I never knew this USB Wi-Fi adapter existed until someone told me about it. If your computer is not Wi-Fi capable, then this is for you. Very simple instructions that comes with a cd for quick installation. I just followed the easy instructions for installation and connected to my existing Wi-Fi router remotely. Took less than 10 minutes for a newbie like me...from reading instructions to connecting to the Wi-Fi remotely. Great buy!

My daughters HP laptop could never get the network speeds that our other devices could; not even when sitting 3 feet from the router. After some investigation I discovered her laptop was only using the 2.4GHz channels and totally ignoring the 5GHz channels. That seemed a little odd given her laptop is roughly the same age as mine and my laptop's built in WiFi works on both channels. After doing some research I chose this little USB adapter as a way to get her both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz access. All we had to do was pull down the drivers before we plugged it in, install them and then insert the adapter. We disabled her built in WiFi and she was immediately seeing MUCH faster speeds. We can now play online together and she sees no lag anymore. Since she does not use USB devices much the loss of one of her few USB ports is not a big concern. If you are severely limited in your USB ports but really want to have full spectrum use of your WiFi, you should still consider this little adapter. It is low profile and after several months has shown itself to be quite reliable. The only complaint I have is that the drivers were not provided on a mini CD in the package. As long as you have some Internet access you can pull the drivers down on your own. However if you have no INet access on the computer you plan to use the adapter on, you will need to find a way to get the drivers before the adapter will function for you. It seems that a few cents more in materials to include a mini CD would have been a nicer option by the manufacturer. Beyond this, you will find the adapter is a solid work horse at a nice price.

My three sons all built their own desktop PC's and rather than put in a WIFI card I got them each a ASUS USB Network Adaptor. It is easy to use and no installation necessary. It picked up the WIFI right away and also streams very fast speeds as well. Cheap and great product.

The size of this little dongle is incredible and the performance works well thankfully. One thing that bothers me is the black part of the head of the unit is a bit loose and feels like it could break off. I hope this thing lasts me longer then my last no name wireless dongle. So far so good but just a bit worried about the physical construction.

My wifi antenna wasn't working properly and this was the fix that was recommended. It was a great price, and I got a Best Buy member discount too. This device is small and unobtrusive and fixed my problem, which was that my laptop recognized other wifi networks but not my own, so that I could not get on my internet.

For the price point and the overall size of this dongle, it's very good. There are some compatibility issues with Linux distributions, however. If you really know Linux well, it's a non-issue, but I would advise newcomers to really do some research on other units if they're planning on using Linux. If you're just looking for something simple to add range to a sub-par laptop receiver or to a motherboard without built-in wi-fi; this is perfect. If you don't mind something a little bulkier, though, there are better options available.

After moving to a new place, I needed to be able to receive Wi-Fi on my computer as I could no longer use the ethernet cable and I didn't want to install anything complicated. This little thing was a quick, cost-effective solution and works perfectly. My computer is now Wi-Fi enabled.

Works very well, have noticed that it tends to get a little hot over time which may start to affect the performance if used for an excess amount of time, but other than the speeds run great was able to run a hotspot to my laptop and it was running at 5G 560mgph
