Unable to access my internet provider on an old LT

To it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy to have a 1 TB SSD drive installed and new install of Windows 10. Because of the age of the LT, it was unable to pull up my 5g internet through Cox. The Geek Squad recommended this inexpensive small device and it worked perfectly just as they said it would.

Sees All Available Networks

Works really well & sees more available networks than the internal one does. On past road trip I'd be in a hotel or office and my laptop couldn't see the local WiFi networks, but my phone could. This ASUS adapter resolved all those problems, it sees everything my phone sees. Is it a bad or lousy internal adapter? I don't know, but this one works & I no longer waste time trying to get connected.

Allows our older laptop to use wireless!

This little guy works well. It still needs to a driver to install it which comes on a CDette, and again our laptop is old, so we had a CD player, too!
