Solid solution for refurb tower without wifi

Installation was a breeze and it got the machine online on our home network instantly. My only knock on it is that for whatever reason, the baseline settings are limiting its performance to under 300mbps up/down on our 1gig fiber connection. Still plenty fast for anything we need, and extremely reliable so far.

Fixed my internal WiFi issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My asus laptop would be connected to my at-home wifi for about 10 minuets and then would suddenly disconnect saying there was no internet access meanwhile I could be on my phone, and my mother could be in the room right next to mine on videocalls for 10 hours a day with no problems. After I established it wasn't a problem with the wifi, I bought this after trying to get it fixed. This allows me to have a second WiFi connection at all times and has done the trick for about a month now. I am so happy I saved my $1500 laptop with this virtually inexpensive item!
