Use it at work for bluetooth headphones

Just connected it to a USB-A port on my Windows 10 desktop, and then I was able to pair my bluetooth headphones with my computer. If I don't close my office door, it maintains connection to the break room across the hall, but starts to falter much farther than that. (But that could also be the headphones' range just as easily as the adapter.)

Best Bluetooth adapter for Desktops

It has a good range and I can use multiple devices with no issues. I have it plugged in the back of my Desktop and I have no interference issues. I would recommend to get a female USB extension cord if you are having any interference issue. But overall Great product!

Great replacement Bluetooth radio.

After disabling the onboard adapter I installed the Asus USBBT500 and installed the drivers for it which can be found on Asus' website. Now my Bluetooth works like new again!

This SOLVED my issues

ASUS - USBBT500 Bluetooth works Great

Kid is using it so he can connect an Xbox controller to pay a Steam game. He has said no issues with how it connects.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have tried several cheap ones but kept having troubles so bit the bullet and paid up. well worth it. fast connection, NONE of the issues i had with others like audio lagging the sped up video, microphone not connecting, not working in usb3 port, failure to reconnect. Great. I have slight negative comments about the driver download instruction/process: 1) the website url in my instructions was incorrect, kept showing up as under maintenance-i finally just went to asus on my own and found it right away; and 2) the latest driver package at asus had a more recent date than the driver already installed, but the driver in the package was the same one-spent too much wasted time for nothing (windows 10). Still, highly recommended.
