We bought this when my wife's bluetooth stopped working on her motherboard. This has been so quick and reliable that when the update made the one on her motherboard usable again, she disabled it and is continuing with this adapter instead.

this one works way better than the one I had before, it was an insignia with 4.0 Bluetooth that was constantly disconnecting my devices everyday. This one has only disconnected my Xbox controller once or twice every week but it does not disconnect my Bluetooth audio like the other one.

It works perfect, it has a good range, 5 stars, I recommend it

I bought it to use for my Xbox series x controller on a of and it disconnects when it wants. Kind of annoying but it gets the job done I guess

The bluetooth USB adapter works perfect! My office desktop does not have bluetooth. I bought the ASUS USBBT500 Bluetooth Smart Ready USB Adapter and plugged into my desktop. I enabled the "Bluetooth and Other Devices" under Settings. The adapter comes up. I connected by wireless earbuds to my desktop computer for speaker and microphone use. No issues, the connection and setup was easy.

I had to return the product not because it didn't work. I needed this for my Silhouette Cameo 5 and the machine can only have a 4.0

I didn't realize how much I was missing until I bought and installed this little gem on my 7-year-old desktop that didn't have Bluetooth built in. Now moving data from my phone or listening to music throughout the house is easy with the long-distance connectivity afforded by this tiny USB device.

Works exactly as you would think. Only issue is windows would turn device off after so long causing devices to disconnect. Once I updated settings in device manager it works great. Windows problem and not device issue.

Works great on my work laptop that is conpany secured to not allowed bluetooth. Bluetooth adaptor is a great solution to use my work headphones and bluetooth keyboard

Fairly inexpensive way to add BT 5.0 capabilities to a desktop... I'm using in Win10 Pro, primarily to drive some Beats headphones. I'm getting around 35 feet of range with the unit setting primarily above surrounding furniture. Range will be less if it's inside an enclosure or is otherwise blocked by metal objects. You can use the Windows drivers or download some directly from ASUS - I didn't see much difference in performance.

Bought this asus usb bluetooth dongle as I wanted to try out wireless bluetooth headphones and so far this device does a great job in connecting bluetooth devices on windows computers, it does what it needs to do and my headphones sound great and hardly any lag. Definitely a good inexpensive way to get bluetooth 5.0 on your computer no matter desktop or laptop.
