My Sony bluetooth headphones now work as both microphone and audio. The bluetooth connects immediately on boot, when the headphones are on, and never drop connection. Loving this purchase.

After you pair the adapter with your speakers, remember to open sound settings and set the bluetooth speakers as your output.

After 2-hours with Microsoft Support & 3-days of many technicians of HP Support, this item is working well. I would not say that my experience installing this item is "typical" and I do recommend this product. NOW - that this product is installed properly, I can walk all around my 2-floors 1,800 sqft house with no lose of audio connection.
