Bought this for my son's gaming PC, so he could have his noise canceling headset and even his ear buds paired with his PC so he could game without filling the entire upstairs with loud game sounds/music. This BT adapter, worked straight out of the box, no drivers needed PNP on Windows 11 worked flawlessly. Paired with his noice canceling headset and even his Anker Soundcore X20 ear buds connected first time, everytime.

This USB-based BT is SO handy. I found out my motherboard didn't have BT or wi-fi the hard way... This little adapter has been a lifesaver! And very cost effective as well. No Bluetooth issues that I haven't had with literally any other BT device I've owned.

Works out of the box and compact enough for any system. I had no issues pairing any devices out of the 4 I tried. No complaints after 3 months of use.

It was very easy to install, and already had its drivers. I installed this in a Dell Optiplex 9010 that had no Bluetooth and it worked perfectly out of the box.

I needed a Bluetooth adapter that would work with modern Bluetooth devices in my older CF31 Toughbook and this did the trick, it fits nicely behind the protective port covers and still connects to the devices I need it to.

This is a great adapter. It was easy and it works! Pairing was a cinch with all of my bluetooths. Purchased an Insignia previously and couldn't get it to work. Thought my computer was the problem. Bought this and it fired right up.

I had persistent audio dropouts and stuttering with my Bluetooth speaker and initially thought Windows was the problem. After some digging, I discovered the real issue was the ASUS USB‑BT500 dongle storing old pairing data internally. Even after removing devices in Windows, “ghost” devices kept coming back and interfering with audio. To fix it, I verified Windows wasn’t the source (empty Bluetooth cache, clean registry), then uninstalled the dongle in Device Manager and physically unplugged it to force a full hardware reset. After plugging it back in, Windows reinstalled it cleanly, all ghost devices disappeared, and audio performance immediately stabilized. The problem wasn’t Windows — it was the dongle re‑injecting old pairing data. A full reset completely solved it.

Using this adapter for Xbox Controller on my PC. Works flawlessly, no lag and immediate sync. Would recommend this for PCs that don't have built-in Bluetooth.

works good and i would reccomend the product to people i know. allows me to connect any bluetooth device to my computer

Product works pretty well, but the only issue I have is a mild latency that makes caming with controllers a bit difficult. If you can wire in for gameplay do it but for a casual game night works amazing!

Inexpensive and great solution for enabling Bluetooth on laptop. Just plug in. Eliminated the need for external speakers which can annoy others in the room.

I have a 10+ year old HP Desktop that I planned to put into Semi-Retirement and replace it with a Mac Mini M1. Want to keep it available because of features, like MS Publisher/Access etc. that Apple doesn’t have. The Old HP Work Horse lacked the amenities like Bluetooth and WiFi. Purchased an other brand Bluetooth Adapter - Would Not download Drivers and after a hour on the phone with Tech Support, their recommendation was take it back and get a refund. Had previously purchased an ASUS Wifi Adapter that worked like a charm without issue. Purchased the ASUS Bluetooth Adapter and after a minute or so to download the Drivers, it was up and running connecting to Bluetooth Devices without a problem. If I ever need another adapter - ASUS will be the FIRST PLACE I LOOK. These were my first ASUS Devices, so they definitely made a 5 STAR First Impression.

This is an excellent product which I am using in a laptop so size is a consideration as well as performance. I am sure it will also work well again other configurations. Setup was easy and performance much better than the OEM Wi-Fi

Good product. It's a Bluetooth dongle and not the same as the dongle that comes with a wireless keyboard or mouse so it won't replace those or work in lieu of those. You still need the receiver that comes with your Logitech devices that use a proprietary 2.4 GHz technology. Logitech and other companies also offer Bluetooth keyboards, mice, etc What it does do is add Bluetooth capability to a computer that doesn't already have Bluetooth. Works great. Asus products are usually quite good.

This device worked pretty much immediately and without any calibration in settings or anything like that. It was a very quick fix for when my laptop lost bluetooth capabilities.

I wanted a way to be able to use an xbox controller on my PC and laptop. This works perfectly and does exactly what I needed it to. Also a cheaper option than the actual Microsoft/xbox dongle thing.
