Overall, the picture quality is great on games like fortnite and apex legends. You can run the game on epic or higher display settings (depending on the pc build you have). No red dots so far, monitor can be adjusted vertically, horizontally, and tilted up to 45 degrees as well. Overall, great for the price.

Super easy to set up, very sturdy base, colors come out great, and the screen is a comfortable size. I use this as a second monitor (my main monitor is 144Hz) but it still performs great. Well worth the cost, especially on sale (when I purchased it) If you’re looking for a good 75Hz monitor, I’d recommend this one

There is a lot of misinformation in the reviews regarding this product's ability to run at 75hz with an HDMI cable and it's ability to work with Nvidia graphic cards. I almost canceled my order due to the incorrect reviews, but I'm sure glad that I didn't! The ASUS website describing capability with both AMD and Nvidia cards at 75hz is correct and the reviews stating otherwise are completely bogus or outdated. I connected the the monitor by HDMI to a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Super, turned on FreeSync in the monitor menu, went to the display settings and selected 75hz at 1920 X 1080, and then turned on Adaptive Sync in the Nvidia Control Panel (3d section). There are numerous reviews stating that this isn't possible and that the monitor will only achieve 60hz unless you have an AMD video card, or that HDMI won't support 75hz, yet they're all wrong as everything easily operates at 75hz just as the ASUS website described. The picture is ultra-clear and bright and the adjustment capability of the stand is phenomenal. I'm exceptionally happy with the size, quality and capability at this point and would highly recommend this monitor.

Great price because due to the high quality I would have expected to pay more. My son loves this monitor. Easy set up, built in speakers sound great. He plays with his Xbox One S The picture quality is excellent. He enjoys his games now more than he did, which I didn’t think was possible. Definitely recommend to any gamers of any age.

Fantastic display, would buy again, absolutely no issues

It is very hard to find a monitor of this caliber at this price. The view is fully adjustable out of the box and could even go vertical. Refresh rate is above the standard 60Hz, has two hdmi ports and even comes with built in speakers.

Model: VG245HSKU: 5591926 After a little over a year of owning the ASUS 24" Monitor here is my review and comments on the device. Packaging: Excellent The packaging was done at full expectation great to keep for when you move. Keeps it safe and the box is strong. Easy to unpack and everything was organised. Installation/ Setup: Easy After unpacking it I was easily able to set it up, plug it in and attach the stand on. It has 2 HDMI ports that are easily accessible and I was able to adjust the monitor to what I needed to easily. Basically just a plug and use monitor. You can adjust some other settings and look of the monitor depending on what suits you best. I have no complaints. Picture Quality: Great/Good It is what you would expect for a 1080p monitor. It's definitely NOT 4K, but still all you need for good gaming at 75 Hz refresh rate. You will notice things that you normally wouldn't while playing on a TV. Defiantly designed for gaming on the desktop none the less. It has an amazing 1ms response time and you feel no display lag on the monitor. Buy or Don't Buy? I would say buy this device! overall it's and amazing monitor for your gaming needs. Although its obvious that it was designed for gaming desktops you can use if for console gaming just the same. You will only get 60 Hz of refresh rate instead of 75 Hz. Be warned some models of graphics card will have trouble working with free sync. I know you will enjoy this monitor if you buy it. Before i bought this monitor I bought a Samsung 1080p model. The colors were awful and I hated how my games looked, so I sent it back and purchased this one instead. For the same price as the Samsung monitor I bought, the difference is NIGHT AND DAY. The colors on this monitor pop and it is the best looking game display i’ve ever seen, and i’ve owned multiple 1080p TVs and Monitors. There is little to no lag and I love how it tilts in any direction. Im not a professional gamer by any means but this monitor is really, really good. I would pay $300 for this. The best gaming experience i’ve ever had hands down.

This monitor ROCKS!! From the refresh rate to the super low 1ms lag rate you can’t go wrong and price just puts the cherry on top! It’s not 4K but that’s not always needed to get that smooth clear picture you want! You won’t go wrong with this monitor!

This monitor is great! My sister got one of these and recommended it to me as I was looking for a monitor that wasn't terribly expensive but had a good enough refresh rate to be used for gaming, and I have to say I'm glad she recommended this one. I'm a casual gamer who mostly plays single-player games as well as several different MMOs and it works just fine for what I'm doing with it. Haven't had any issues with it whatsoever, the image quality is excellent. I love how easy it is to adjust the height and angle of the monitor as well, and it's extremely simple to get it set up. I've also streamed some movies on it and everything looks good there too. I would definitely recommend it, you get more than your money's worth, in my opinion.

If there is anything really negative I'd have to say about the monitor right off the bat, it's the price of it. For a $200 'gaming' monitor, the overall specs of it just doesn't exactly meet the price tag that other monitors, either from the same manufacturer (ASUS), or others such as LG, Sceptre, etc., can meet. I would honestly recommend nabbing this while it's on a good sale, but even then, I would also recommend just getting a monitor from LG or Acer that can offer vastly higher refresh rates (either 120 or 144Hz) for the same price. Aside from that, it has a nice screen, plus it does have some built-in speakers, though I would recommend getting either a headset or some external ones, as the built-in speakers on this thing are rather "meh" at best. I will also say that if you're planning on getting it for your consoles, then hey, this monitor is good for that. If you were planning on getting this for a secondary monitor, it's good for that. It's especially good as a backup monitor in case your main display kicks the bucket sooner than expected. Even if it does only support a 75Hz refresh rate, it does have AMD FreeSync, so you don't have to worry about any screen tearing if your computer rig outdoes that refresh rate. All in all, a nice monitor, just not for the price ASUS puts this thing at, especially when factoring in competitors that offer monitors that can do better at the same or similar price.

This monitor is really great! Out of the box the colors aren't the best, they are washed out. In the preset, "modes", landscape is far too saturated and vibrant. Some tweaking in the custom settings fixes this though. After this, the color representation is 10/10. (I will post my settings on the bottom part of this review if you wish to copy them for your monitor). The LED power light is well hidden, it will not be annoying. Speakers are not the best as they are located behind the screen, but they do get LOUD if you want them to be and are still something I use everyday. If you plan to game on this monitor, I suggest using the "Racing" preset mode as a base to start as according to the manufacturers website this setting will reduce input lag for the monitor. For cable management, there is a gap in the stand itself to pull your video cables through. Pull the door hard to remove the cable door. There is only enough room to fit 2 HDMI cables and the power cable through this small gap. 75Hz IS available using the included HDMI cable. Freesync is not required to hit 75Hz out of box for PC. Consoles will force 60Hz regardless for their max output, this cannot be changed for any monitor/TV. FOR NVIDIA USERS: In the Nvidia Control Panel under "Change Resolution", change your Output Dynamic Range to FULL from Limited otherwise you will also have washed out colors from this. AND change resolution to PC 1920x1080 from the automatically chosen "Ultra HD" 1080p, 1920x1080 (native) if you want to hit 75Hz. Settings: Racing mode, No blue light filter selected, Brightness w/e, Contrast 70, Color Temp: normal, SmartView: off, Trace Free: 80, Aspect Control: 0, VividPixel: 0. I also use Flux to make the colors warmer for less eye strain with these settings.

I got this monitor because I needed one for every day use that moves up and down. A lot of the computer monitors out there now are totally stationary. They don’t move and would not work for me. The salesman suggested this one and though I had some concerns at first, like the large size fitting on my desk, or using it for general use not gaming, I decided to give it a try. It works great, I don’t do gaming on it, just every day stuff. I did have to increase the font to 125% though. And the speakers are tinny sounding for music so I kept my old ones. But it does what I need it to do and it doesn’t short out like my old one!

I went to BB to buy a monitor when everyone was sent home to work. I originally had another monitor I was purchasing, but on the advice of the salesperson I bought this one. He advised that the other may not as good as this one for spreadsheets and presentations. I took it home, hooked it up to my work laptop and WOW! Very easy set up, simply plug it in and go. I am not a full time gamer. I play sporadically, but this must be awesome for games. We did hook up my daughter’s FireTV to the monitor, and again, it was beautiful. Again, just plug in one of the HDMI slots and go. Very simple and easy! I would highly recommend this monitor! Plus, the price was just right!

It’s a great gaming monitor if you’re starting out and have an AMD gpu since this is a free sync monitor. Does achieve the 75 FPS our of the bow with provided hdmi assuming your gpu does put out 75 FPS. Only gripe from me coming from an IPS panel to this panel is the color accuracy or vibrancy it’s not bad once you set it up properly and get used to it for me Racing mode is the best for gaming and color wise. Speakers aren’t the best but it’s a monitor what did I expect they’re also not that bad. It has 2 hdmi Ports and an audio out and audio in port for headsets or external speakers. The stand is adjustable up and down and also flips sideways. Menu buttons are easy to navigate for setup. Overall this is a great budget monitor for gaming above 60 FPS very happy with it.

This monitor fits my needs very well. It was easy to set up, and has well-configured controls. The clarity is just fine for my uses, which is light-to-medium gaming and watching videos. Additionally, the salespeople at the store were knowledgeable and good to interact with. Recommend this monitor to anyone looking for an inexpensive medium-end purchase.

This monitor has beautiful design visually. It is very ornate. As for performance it matches the beauty. The picture is crisp on both PC and consoles. There is no blur during fast motion like other monitors I have used. Sound quality is not the best, but is decent for a monitor. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good gaming monitor.

This is a great gaming monitor with great color and speed to handle the fastest of twitch games. No pixel issues, can be turned in any direction and adjusted to the height that you want. Perfect size for my desk.

I’ve had this monitor for 3 weeks now, and so far I’ve had no problems with dead pixels or other malfunctions, thankfully. The stand was easy to assemble, and the base itself has a surprisingly wide range of motion. The border of the monitor is thin and largely unnoticeable with normal use, though I don’t use dual monitors so I don’t know if it would be a problem with two of them. The overall picture quality of the monitor is fantastic. The monitor has plenty of options for tweaking the picture. In addition to the FreeSync feature and 75Hz refresh rate, overall this monitor is a stellar buy for beginner PC gamers.
