Thank you for writing a comment for the product. I do understand your concern about the noise. It is normal for the fan to spin at full-throttle and generates noise while the laptop is under heavy load like gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. It does decrease or normalizes once utilization goes down. I do not like several features

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Six months of 2-3 hour/week use and the screen first failed then developed a crack that spread across the screen. Best Buy tech support installed and hooked up the unit and it has not moved from the desktop since. Best Buy says it is not a warranty item since it was 'damaged'. Perhaps, but it would be difficult since my mother is in a wheelchair and can't even reach the top of the computer. It is unlikely she 'damaged' the ASUS all-in-one. No one else is allowed in her office. I think it is more likely there was a manufacturing defect or shipping damage that revealed itself after light use. Since we purchased every bit of protection from Best Buy offered, to be told it is a paperweight is annoying and has lost me as a customer.

I just end up taking it back to the store and purchasing a whole new brand.
