Picked it up at $220 for a tax-free Back to School Deal.
I wasn't sure if this was the laptop for me (given the specs), but it allows you to upgrade certain components, which sealed the deal for me. I was able to upgrade this laptop from 8GB to 16GB (dual-channel) RAM and 128GB to 512GB storage.
The i3-1315U processor is more than enough for my needs. However, I don't really like the display quality this laptop has to offer. I understand that budget means cutting corners, so beware of this one. The 250 nits are enough for indoor use, which is my work environment.
I recommend it for anyone that needs a budget laptop that can be upgraded when needed.

Light weight, solid build. More ram and faster processor than most at this price. I bought this to have a portable backup to my desktop PC. It runs Office 365 and all the other apps I need. Perfect balance of features and price.

Have a really pricey gaming laptop for home and work use, but wanted to be able to safely travel with a laptop without too much worry about losing it/breaking it/getting it stolen. This laptop gives a little more than the bare minimum for $250 (when on sale) and could function for an extreme budget gaming laptop if you're interested in that (won't be able to play AAA games but GPU-light indie games will work!). Feels comfortable and efficient, and battery life will last a full workday if you're just browsing the internet or writing in Microsoft Office. My only complaint is the screen is mediocre and isn't bright enough to combat glare issues in outdoor settings on a sunny day.

The Vivobook 14 is a good laptop for the price. I was looking for a inexpensive, quality laptop for general browsing and emails and this fit the bill for a good price. More powerful than a Chromebook it is well designed and light. FHD makes it good to look at.

Asus delivers again. Great laptop for the price. Keyboard has good touch & responsive, display is good for the price point paid, battery life beats my newer HP laptop that cost twice as much and is usually dead when I go to use it. Best part about it is the RAM and storage are both upgradeable. While a lot of other manufacturers are soldering on the bare min. RAM and storage for the OS to run ASUS still gives the user the opportunity to expand the RAM and Storage as needed so the laptop isn't useless after 2 years. I refuse to purchase laptops that don't offer the ability to upgrade for this reason.

The ASUS Vivobook 14 is a great choice if you need a reliable laptop for everyday tasks. The Intel Core i3 and 8GB of RAM make it fast enough for web browsing, video calls, documents, and streaming without lag. It boots up quickly thanks to the SSD, and everything runs pretty smoothly.
The 14" Full HD screen looks sharp, and the Quiet Blue color gives it a nice, modern feel. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, which is perfect for students or working on the go.
Overall, if you need a simple, no-frills laptop that gets the job done without costing a ton, this one’s a solid pick.

It works well, easy to set up, clear and easy to see screen and a decent battery life the only thing I don't like is the number-touch pad interface "cross over" button being too sensitive.

This purchase was perfect for my upcoming semester at college. I was looking for something with enough power to be able to handle my course work in computer science. I enjoy the slim design and slick finish of the laptop. Useful ports make presentations and collaborative work very easy. I thought I wouldn't enjoy the touchpad numberpad, but have found myself using it more than I expected which is a nice surprise.

My wife's Macbook that she uses for music editing is ancient and too slow for her to handle basic word processing and email, so we picked this up with some rewards, and it's been incredible for her getting basic things done and using Microsoft Word. Great lightweight machine for simple tasks!

I love this ASUS Vivobook 14 laptop! It's sleek, lightweight, and perfect for everyday use. The 14" Full HD display is crisp and vibrant, making movies and work tasks enjoyable. With the Intel Core i3 processor and 8GB of memory, it handles multitasking smoothly. The 128GB SSD ensures quick boot-ups and responsive performance. Plus, the Quiet Blue color is refreshing and stylish. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone needing a reliable and portable laptop

We got this as a replacement for my husband who is in college. It handles assignments and research wonderfully. Battery lasts all day, it is used all day without recharging. Great laptop at a great price.

I was using an ASUS E210MA, and changed to this machine which runs much faster and has 8GB of ram vs 4. This Vivobook is larger (14") than the older ASUS (11") whose size I liked for traveling. For my basic purposes this Vivobook does everything well.

Works great, is light and perfect for school or work. Only complaints are not having a backlit keyboard and the goofy numberpad that sometimes activates on the trackpad

A great value. This laptop offers a a good possessor much better than the celeron N offered in other laptops at this price range. Plus 8 gig of ram with an open slot to upgrade. Does everything I need. Surf the web, email, videos, spreadsheets. Do your homework and you will see what a good laptop this is for the price

I bought this computer because of its size and weight; it's very portable. I use it for programming, Power BI work, and other tasks, and it performs very well. All at an excellent Price.
