Works well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a 2013 Macbook Pro and an Alienware Alpha turned into a standard desktop. Bought it open box. It came out of S Mode with ease, added a 16gb stick of Crucial Ram and swapped in a 500gb Crucial P3 Plus SSD and it runs like a dream. It should he noted it has standard Intel UHD graphics not Iris Xe, but I’m still very satisfied with the laptop.

Outstanding for the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this during the holidays for $200. The 12th gen Core i3 CPU is faster than the 11th gen Core i5 I have on another laptop that is only two years older. Memory is expandable so I added 8 gb and also replaced the M.2 SSD for one with 512 gb. All together, its a really solid machine for around $252 before tax. Battery life is solid, around 5-6 hours. It's still a good buy at the current price ($429 as of this writing) but you may want to look elsewhere if opening a laptop to do upgrades isn't your thing.

Great Budget Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good business laptop for the price. I was able to pick this laptop on sale, I added an additional 8gb of ram and the laptop screams for daily business type activities (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc). I did try to play a couple of less intensive games on this laptop, but unfortunately ran into issues, but if you are looking for a laptop to do daily activities and even stream videos this is great for the price. Screen could definitely be better, but I use an HDMI cable to cast to a monitor, so that is not an issue for me.

Not Bad For A Little Guy
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I both have older Vivobook-15 laptops that we are happy with. When my stepdaughter thought she wanted a Celeron-powered HP-14 because it was cheap, I managed to convince her (and front the extra) for this Core i3 Asus. She seems to like it a lot better than she thought she would. Not only does it come with twice the RAM but it is capable of being upgraded with an additional 8GB of 3200MHz DDR4. 8GB will get you by with Windows 11, but she’s gonna want extra buffer that the HP she wanted couldn’t handle. I even caught her playing decent games on it. For a 14” laptop, this thing is pretty nifty if you dont need a powerhouse.

Great laptop for everyday use as a student
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great laptop if you need a basic computer. I am a 1st year college student and this is perfect for working on papers for school. I use it so I am not stuck at my desk for hours at a time. It is not heavy or bulky the size of perfect to put in my backpack and take it with me if I need to go outside for some fresh air or go to the coffee show for a change of scenery.

ASUS - Vivobook 14
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a budget laptop that it perfect for college students that don't need a demanding computer. Bought it for my girlfriend because she needed a laptop for college and it has enough battery to last her a full school day. Downside to it though is that it's hard to see the screen outdoors and the keyboard isn't backlit. But I mean that's easily solved b being inside and tilting your screen down a little to provide light on your keyboard at night (or just memorize the keyboard layout).

Nice little machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. It’s capable of doing everything media related that I do. It’s light but also nicely designed and built. 3 usb and HDMI ports. It comes with a pre built operating system that you can remove. At first I was going to but I’m enjoying the user friendly interface it came with. Very fast too. Easy internet access. Everything has been great. Definitely recommend for the price.

Great laptop. Got it for $250
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up this ASUS Vivobook 14", and it’s been great so far. It handles day-to-day tasks like browsing, streaming, and working on documents without a hitch. The design is slim and lightweight, so it's easy to carry around, and the Quiet Blue color is a nice touch. That said, I’d definitely recommend adding 16GB of RAM and swapping out the 128GB SSD for a larger one if you can. With those upgrades, it really feels like a whole new machine—faster, smoother, and able to take on more demanding tasks. Overall, it’s a solid laptop that can be made even better with a couple of easy upgrades!

Quick, simple solution to emergency problem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the middle of my work day, I needed a new laptop ASAP as the old one finally died. I didn't have much time for the search during lunch, but I found this model fit my requirements and for a good price. The computer itself loads quickly, is light and looks good. It was quite easy to load the necessary programs for work quickly and I was able to finish my work day on time. I've not used ASUS before, but I am quite satisfied with it. No problems in the first two months of use. Glad to have made the purchase.

Great for the price…
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this, added a 16g ram module so it has 24gb’s total now and a 1tb hard drive and this thing runs better and faster than some of the laptops that people pay well over a $1000 for. Adding the ram and hard drive cost me an extra $46(because I already had the hard drive) I seriously thought about buying 4 or 5 of them, do the same thing and resell them for twice as much as i put into them. The only hang up for people would be that it doesn’t have a backlit keyboard because they don’t understand the absolute simplest of solutions to it costs them about ten bucks on amazon.

Excellently priced laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellently priced laptop; all you need to do is upgrade the SSD and add more RAM to make it the ideal laptop for daily use. Best Buy's specifications are incorrect; for example, the graphic card is UHD Graphics rather than Iris, and it is 1.2 GH rather than 3.2 GH. Best Buy should investigate and adjust the information appropriately.

Well Built, Performance, And Affordable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace an old 6th Gen I5 Inspiron that fell apart in my hands. Great little laptop, especially on sale, I picked this I3 laptop for Celeron money. Don't let the low storage or RAM dissuade you, 10 screws and a few sturdy clips and it opens up to an empty DIMM slot and a replaceable M.2 SSD. I grabbed an extra 16GB stick when I picked this up, and installation was a breeze with the stick automatically being recognized. It's built surprisingly well, it doesn't feel cheap and there's minimal flex in the body. The screen isn't the best, the viewing angles aren't great but it's bright enough and very clear, 1080P looks great on a small screen like this. The machine is very sleek looking overall, and the color is nice. It has 3 USB A ports, one USB C, and a full size HDMI port for a good amount of connectivity. Unfortunately no USB C charging, but I'll give it a pass. Overall I'm extremely happy with this laptop and it's performance, especially for the price.

Good economic laptop, bad touchpad
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely a budget laptop, but gets the job done. I'm usually on a Mac, but rely on a handful of programs exclusive to PC. This laptop handles small duty software well. The keyboard is not the most satisfying, but is totally adequate. The most bizarre choice was to add a calculator feature on the touchpad; I'm always accidentally activating the calculator while moving and clicking - bad design. But overall, this is a good value.

Budget Friendly Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An absolute steal for the price! Great for school work, office work, and slight gaming. I am able to run Sims 4 and Roblox pretty smoothly. Screen could be better, but at this price point it’s doable.

On sale price perfect backup laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When on sale for <$200 it is a peffect backup laptop you can easily upgrade with 8GB more ram for cheap, and replace ssd if needed. Screen is the weakest link but as a backup does not matter, and performance wise it is quite good for the price. Does not know battery life since I am using it mostly on charger. or very short on battery so for me it is acceptable.

Great laptop if on sale! Not worth $400
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought during a flash sale for a little over $200 and if you base that price on everything else being expensive today it is a really good deal. It retails on Best Buy for around $400 but I wouldn't recommend it for that price. Pros: - Price when on sale - i3 processor - Fast SSD hard drive Cons: - Very small screen - 8 GB RAM (I recommend 16 GB running Windows 11) - Power adapter is quite short compared to other laptop chargers, but it works. - 128 GB internal hard drive (It's fast but if you are doing light gaming You really need an small USB external hard drive to install your games, movies, etc. - Windows 10 Home S MODE (IN THIS MODE YOU CAN'T INSTALL ANY PROGRAMS OUTSIDE MICROSOFT STORE!) If you have the expertise to turn off S mode it is ok, then but it is still a hassle. If it was just straight Windows 10 Home, it would have been great. Overall, not bad if you can get this laptop for $300 or less! Catch it during a good sale and you can add fast USB-C SSD hard drive and extra RAM. Personally, all I added was 2 TB USB-C SSD. 16 GB RAM is recommended but so far it runs fine with 8 GB RAM, but you will need to eventually upgrade the RAM.
