I have had this computer for about 2 months now and so far I am pleased with this computer so far. This computer can satisfy my basic needs but give me a couple more months I didn't ask me again

Sound is low. Checked settings, still low. But no problem, will use wireless headset. I do many settings and have no problem except low volume.

For me, the three most important features are:
1) Matte display (anti-glare.. don't have to look at myself when I'm trying to get work done).
2) The keyboard and trackpad are in the center (no extra useless keys and easier to type on).
3) ASUS (I've had good luck with them for quality so far).
I got this laptop to replace an older laptop that had an extended keyboard (a number keypad I never used) so the keyboard was shifted to the left to compensate for the extra keys. Because of that when the laptop was on my lap, the computer had a tendency to want to rotate to the left, plus it was quite uncomfortable to type on. This ASUS has the keyboard directly the center and doesn't have the useless keys. The keyboard itself also has a really nice feel to it.
Usually the first thing I do with a computer like this would be to uninstall Windows (I prefer Mac and Linux) but I decided to give Windows 10 a shot and use Xubuntu Linux in a virtual machine (VirtualBox) on top of Windows. With 2 of the 6 GB of memory allocated to Linux, it still runs quite well. Actually, I really see no noticeable loss in performance on Windows and Linux runs great.
Windows 10 does unfortunately come with McAfee anti-virus installed (I thought Microsoft had their own anti-virus?) and for whatever reason 32-bit Adobe Flash. Why would a brand new computer with a 64 bit CPU and OS comes with a 32 bit piece of software that's filled with so many security holes that decent web browsers flat out block it?
Anyway, overall great computer.. really happy with it so far. (Did I mention it has a matte display?)

Good size quality and price. Battery runs down faster when charging a phone with it on.
