Trash - Stay Away From ASUS

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the third ASUS product I've owned that has completely died either just before or just out of warranty. NEVER AGAIN. EVER. In this case, the product simply stopped powering up one day. No heavy use, no abuse. No problems with power cord. All troubleshooting based on recommended steps has failed. I will be contacting best buy for service, but I'm not holding my breath. We live in a throw-away society, and a customer shelling out $500 just doesn't matter when it comes to reliability. They already got my cash, so why should it matter if the product keeps working, right?

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, and are built to last, this is considered to be a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage. Please installed Windows Update periodically and make sure you have done a virus scan to ensure that your computer does not have a virus. Often times, viruses can cause performance issues.
