This is a nice laptop with enough graphics processing power for video editing and powering multiple 4k monitors, so it's perfect for me! I do a small amount of gaming (Magic Arena) which didn't always work well on my prior laptop (HP Spectre from 3-4 years ago). There, it would run fine until the battery ran out in a couple of hours, or it would barely be able to power a monitor running over 1080p through a docking station and would constantly refresh, changing monitors, cutting out the audio. With this new Asus laptop, it runs perfectly at the full 4k while also running it's own screen and another 1080p monitor or two at the same time. The processing power is great for video editing as well, which I also periodically do. It comes with a trial of Adobe, which is what I have been using for several years. My only complaint is that every time they make a revision to the software, even the basic controls change... The least they could do is keep basic things like splitting a video to edit out part... I've needed to revert back to the old laptop just to get things done without relearning everything... For this laptop, the screen is great, sharp, accurate colors. The power is good for 4k monitors while running games. The speakers are good for a laptop, but you can do much better with just about any speakers that plug in. With something this nice and powerful, get yourself a docking station with some nice peripherals, and enjoy. ;)

This stopped working after one week. It wouldn’t turn on.

The ASUS 15.6" OLED Laptop with Intel Core i9 - NVIDIA RTX3050 6GB with 16GB Memory in black is an amazing laptop. Set up was very easy and fast. I was able to add my printer immediately and started using this laptop promptly after removing from the box. I love the speed of use when utilizing the internet. I also love the lightweight, thin profile of the laptop. My main use is for everyday internet searching and printing forms, etc for home use, but it could also be used for gaming. The screen is vibrant and I love the keyboard, which is comfortable and easy to type on. The laptop also has a camera at the top, center of the screen with a sliding cover to make sure you don’t accidentally turn on your camera when not ready. I love this feature and is especially useful with Zoom calls for meetings. The sound quality is also great. I found the volume control easy to use and loud enough while listening to podcasts. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the efficiency and features of this laptop. It is perfect for home use and gaming if so desired.

This Laptop is excellent don't get me wrong. Amazing screen, amazing storage and RAM, but the battery is TERRIBLE!!! I bought this (lets say $1,200) laptop for school assuming at that price range and specs I would get at least 5 or so hours out of it. Think again, I have had this laptop for 5 or so months and i have at most been able to get 2 hours out of it. What is the point of the specs on a laptop if it cant be a laptop. Everything else runs great, i thought it was just mine so i got the battery replaced and now its worse than it was before. I am massively disappointed. Even writing this one review with one tab open and nothing in the background, I have gone from 100% to 78% in the span of 10 or so minutes.

I had high hopes for this laptop. However, the battery life alone is a dealbreaker. The representative at the store told me that this battery could last 5 hours while gaming. It can't even last 3 hours with nothing more than a single Google doc open on Chrome (with absolutely nothing else running, not even another tab open). And that's on "best power efficiency" mode! I even looked at what programs were running to see if there was bloatware or something I didn't know of that might be eating the battery, but there's nothing. Additionally, this things gets HOT. Again the store rep told me that it cooled and has great fans. But the fans don't kick on until it gets SUPER hot. And the laptop gets uncomfortably warm within minutes (again, even if only using a Google doc). I did get this laptop from "open box", so it was already opened and used, so it could be defective, but my research tells me that it's just the nature of this computer. Another thing is that the computer gets dirty quickly (you can see finger smudges and such), which you can probably clean, just something to consider. If you plan to use it on a desk and have it plugged in basically all the time, it's probably pretty good. I haven't even tried playing a game on it, but the specs are good. It also has a good feel, nice look, and good screen. But the horrid battery life and high heat was too much to get across. I spent 10 minutes on this review and in that time, the battery dropped 4% and kicked into battery saver mode.

The best place to start is the screen on this laptop. OLED is a beautiful thing and at 15.6” the 2.8K 120 Hz color reproduction is gorgeous. Everything looks better in OLED. The trade-off though is that you need to be in a dark room to avoid the glare that inevitable means I see more of my face than I do of the screen in most office settings with this laptop. If you can adjust your lighting to account for this, you’ll love the visual experience with this screen. As an added bonus, the webcam built into the bezel includes an orange privacy screen that allows the webcam to be completely blocked simply by pushing a slider. It’s something I wish more laptop manufactures would provide as it’s becoming more difficult to trust the software side of webcams these days that yes, the camera is not broadcasting at all times. Weight and portability are all excellent and having both a SD Card reader and built in RJ-45 is a huge bonus for not having to carry around dongles to connect. The full-size HDMI 2.1 port is also wonderful for working with larger displays. The one design choice that is a bit frustrating for me is the inclusion of a dedicated number pad on the keyboard makes for a cramped typing experience if you have big fingers like I do. The laptop includes Windows touch ID support via a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button but with my big fingers and this very tiny button I find it works less than half the time I attempt to use it. The keyboard keys are responsive to the touch making it comfortable to type on for long periods and the trackpad works as one would expect. ASUS did not design the laptop to be easily upgraded, requiring far too many pieces of the laptop to be removed in order to get access to the hard drive slot. The laptop maxes out at 16GB of RAM via a single SO-DIMM, and its buried under far too many parts to be replaced easily. On the plus side the RAM is 4800Mhz DDR5, I just wish there was a second slot allowing 32GB. Overall I’m impressed with how much technology Asus has been able to build into such a tiny laptop and think this makes for a wonderful computing experience on the go.

I've used it without problem for over a year, and still finding out new features. No need to look for upgrades.

A nice surprise from Asus. The 15.6 Oled laptop reminds me of my first gaming laptop from ROG. While this isn't marketed as an Asus ROG (Republic of gamers) it can definitely be considered a little brother or close cousin. Boots up fast with the SSID. Has 1TB storage for plenty of games or media. Probably the best sounding laptop I've had. The onboard speakers are actually decent enough for movies and gaming. While not top of the line audiophile quality, the sound good and can get pretty loud without much distortion. The 3050 graphics card is not top of the line, but does a good job on max settings. COD 76FPS, WoW 110 FPS, no complaints. The screen does lose a little bit of fine detail, especially reading smaller fonts (size 8). It's not the graphics card. When plugged into an external monitor everything is super sharp and crisp. Bluetooth for external items like keyboard, mice , and headsets is lag free. Wifi connected fast and trouble free. Battery life is average. Gaming gets about 2 1/2 hours. Streaming media gets about 5 -5 1/2. Not bad for a small laptop. For those who are into how it looks, all I can say is fingerprints. Function over form, this is an excellent choice do everything laptop.

Excellent performance and a decent build quality for the price. Good deal all around. An i9 13th gen with a discrete card for what one might expect to pay for an i7 12th gen with Intel graphics only. Not the highest end gfx card in the NVIDIA lineup, but more than adequate for most tasks.

This laptop has worked beautifully for everything I have tried so far. I have had no issues connecting to multiple different wifis, it transports well, updates quickly, turns on and shuts down fast. It has connected to my old printer with no issues, and my new mouse instantly. Also no issues with any of my bluetooth devices (headphones, cell phone). I have used it for gaming and for college classes and have been thrilled with its performance so far.

I´d like to get assistance, since I got this Laptop I´ve been noticing that this device is overheating when gaming. Besides that, when Im only using it for browsing or simple tasks the temperature according to the "Task Manager" rises around 47ºC or 53ºC which is crazy. I´ll really appreciate if someone could help me to know how to handle this, or if there is an issue with the device. Thanks in advance.
