The laptop runs incredibly smoothly. The processing speed is impressive, we have a Samsung, Surface Pro, and Macbook and the ASUS blows them out of the water. Everything you want to do runs fast and flawless. The screen is vivid and bright. The keyboard is nice, on par with other high-end laptops. The rtx3050 is probably more than enough to run any game you would want to play on a 15 1/2 screen without any issues. The ASUS is on the heavy/bulky end but is understandable for what is packed into it. With that being said it feels quite durable. Overall I love this computer and can honestly say I would recommend it if you're looking for something for gaming, or working for for school. it cn really do it all

So I purchased this laptop for college, I am an engineering student and let me tell you I love this laptop. Not only is the screen beautiful but it’s really fast it comes with an Intel core i9 and a 3050 nvidia graphic card. I’ve been using it a lot from doing school work to even watching Netflix considering the great screen. The battery isn’t really problem yet as I seen some reviewers saying. I usually just use it for two of my classes and then charge it if it needs its. One thing to note is that I don’t use this laptop for gaming I use it for school work and some occasional streaming. But overall it’s a great laptop and it was great price too because it was on sale! I highly recommend this laptop for any student or any person who looking for a great fast laptop. :)

The screen is absolutely amazing, super bright with perfect color and the sound quality is fantastic. For content creators or people who want to watch the best quality videos this is a great laptop. Unfortunately mine started overheating just after 60 days and I had to return it. I think the i9 CPU is a bit too powerful for this system and the 3050 just isn’t powerful enough to fully take advantage of that display. I’m more of a gamer then a content creator, and will look for another laptop with a more powerful GPU and better cooling, if only I could find one with the same OLED display and sound system.

Was in the market for a new laptop, I was originally looking for a surface laptop but this Asus was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. Especially with spec it had, i9 with 16 gigs of ram and 1tb hard drive and an Nvidia grachics card. I do photography and office work and needed multiple ports, which this had plenty of in comparison to other laptops. It handles everything with ease from lightroom to photoshop and basic office workload and internet use. My only thing is the battery could be better, but for the most part im near an outlet and have had to much trouble running off the battery. But I absolutely love this purchase and would do it again.

Very good computer, solid, light and fast for navigating and common photo apps. Some highlights to consider: - High screen quality, specially for photo editing with HDR, rare feature in this price range and specs. - Ram upgradable to 32gb according to Asus customer support, but with a single slot to upgrade, you will need one 24gb ram. - Battery stands 4-6 hours in saving mode and regular use, but the life prevision can be very confusing, eventually shows 2h remaining for 100% of charge.

I want to highlight couple of features that may not be priority to cover in other reviews. - When you turn on the laptop by pressing power button (same button is used to recognize fingerprints) it remembers your fingerprint and logs you in Windows directly. I think it was cool and do not feel the need of facial recognition in this use case. - This has one thunderbolt 4 port. For those who are not tech savvy, it supports two 4K external displays without a blink/glitch. I used it 10hrs a day for three weeks and not even single glitch in case you like to record external monitor screens. OBS software uses RTX3050 when recording. - I am lazy normal user who likes to have multiple office excel, word PowerPoint files open concurrently with Edge and Chrome browsers that has hundreds of tabs open and like Zoom calls without compromising on speed. All works like a charm even with 16GB RAM. Life with i9 is so much better for little $100 upgrade processor. Future proof it with RAM upgrade. I have used multiple MacBook air laptops in last 15years. Reason to move to this laptop because of Thunderbolt 4 support and nice to have an ability to expand the ram. This laptop is a desktop replacement so always connected to a power supply. With my use case I think this laptop should last me for more than any MacBook air (6-7 years) and if I replace the battery replacement or RAM upgrade then might extend life beyond decade. I do not see me using my laptop much differently in 10 years from now (browsers, Microsoft Office productivity suite, VLC player, Adobe Reader and OBS recording) and this i9 and RTX3050 6GB should get me through AI (artificial intelligence) consumer apps needs for many years to come. FYI, buy it for right price. I bought it for $809 open box.

I do a lot of CAD (FreeCad) and work in Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop, and this laptop just works. the keyboard is great and the system is more than capable of handling anything I can throw at it. my only gripe would be that the battery life could be longer but it's not a dealbreaker.

For what you get, this laptop is a great value. The good stuff: * Nice OLED display * Ports a plenty * Beefy latest gen processor + ram * Discrete graphics (not a gaming rig, but serviceable at reduced settings) * Upgradable - although base specs are decent My only gripes are: * The screen is a little glossy * Battery life is just "okay" * Second m.2 slot would be nice I installed a 32GB DDR5 4800Mhz SODIMM without issue, despite what you may have read in other reviews about being limited to a 16GB chip. The system reports 40GB of RAM as it should. I also installed a 2TB PCIE 4x4 m.2 and reinstalled everything via the cloud restore BIOS cloud restore option and everything works perfectly.

so far so good. very powerful laptop and great price (purchased for $850). I upgraded the ram to 40gb (corsair CMSX32GX5M1A4800C40 - $90) and added 1tb ssd (crucial CT1000P3SSD8 - $60). It was difficult finding any youtube videos on how to do it but I managed to figure it out. It can get hot because of the powerful components its got under the hood so be aware of where you set it down

I have had my share of Asus Gaming Laptops. From the Nitro series to the TUF series, I have always been thoroughly impressed by the performance and value of the product I received. So when Best Buy offered me the opportunity to review this new offering from Asus, I was ecstatic. When I first got my hands on this laptop and turned it on, I vividly remember saying out loud, "wow, that picture is pretty!" The 15" OLED screen just pops. This computer is a little bit smaller than I am used to as I normally used laptops in the 17" range, but I will gladly sacrifice size for the stunning visuals that the screen is able to provide. Throughout the entire setup process and putting the computer through its paces, I just couldn't get enough of the radiant display. The rest of the computer felt solid as well. The design, the hinges, the keyboard...none of it gave me any worry that this would be a resilient laptop ready to put in work for the long-haul. I started off a little easy with some simple sandbox games such as Minecraft, and the computer performed well. Basic laptop use and light multitasking went well also. However, as I started to push the envelope a little, this laptop seemed to stumble and not provide the performance I am used to out of Asus. Maybe I had a little too lofty of expectations from the typical performance of my other Asus products and the initial "wow" I got from the display, but it really seemed that the RTX3050 could not keep up. When getting into more visually demanding tasks and gaming, I found myself having to turn game settings down to keep a reasonable FPS. This was kind of a buzzkill for me as I really wanted to see the beautiful display get put to work. All-in-all, this is a good laptop if you aren't too demanding of it. The day-to-day tasks are handled with ease, the picture is amazing, the gaming is acceptable...did I mention that the picture is amazing? However, I really want more out of my gaming laptops. I don't want to have to throttle down during my games. This laptop may not be a homerun threat, but I am sure when put in an appropriate role, it will be a reliable base hitter. My older i5 laptop finally refused to start while on a service- call, and I needed one immediately. I was happily surprised to find this i9 ASUS which meets my present and future needs very well. The price was reasonable, too. Although the alternatives in stock were less robust, I am completely pleased with the display, the storage, the speed and the weight. A great choice and it was in stock!

Bought for my son. The OLED monitors have super resolution and will make photos and graphics look amazing. An i9 processor is almost overkill it is so fast. 16 GB of ram will be plenty for most. We boosted this to 40, but you can also go to 24 by adding a 16 GB SODIMM to the built-in 8. We added 32 to the built-in 8. Storage is more than enough, and external SSDs can always be added later. size is perfect, and the weight is fine and light. would purchase again.

I’m not technical enough to get into all the nuts and bolts of this laptop. It seems to be very well built and is certainly fast for what I need it to do. I like the fact that it came with 16k of upgradable RAM and the 1TB SSD. The screen is beautiful and I’m grateful for the backlit keyboard. Sorry I can’t offer more than this cursory overview.

Thus far, I have been thoroughly pleased with this machine. I have owned a few ASUS machines over the years and they really have been bullet proof. Finding a machine with these specs at this price point was really unexpected. I was prepared to spend twice what I did! The image quality of the 120Hz OLED screen really is surprising. True, clocking in at 2.8K, the resolution is not quite as high as my MacBook Pro, but I knew this going in. And at 1/3 the cost, I am not complaining. Battery life could be better, but with an Intel processor and discrete graphics this is par for the course. No issues with heat or fan noise. In fact, the fans have hardly been perceptible. Keyboard is comfortable to type on and the backlighting is easy on the eye. It is nice having a numpad, although the non-standard arrangement of the ".", "0", and "Enter" keys takes a minute to get used to . All in all, a great buy. This was purchased to satisfy my wife's computing needs, and it checked off all the boxes... and then some. I am thinking of purchasing another for the sound booth at church; the HDMI and the Thunderbolt ports will serve our video connectivity requirements for a long time to come.

I am blown away by this laptop. Has everything I could want in a laptop minus battery life which still isnt bad. It gets around 10 hours of life, but can be adjusted to get more. Has a stunning display and is very snappy. I’ve done video editing snd other tasks at the same time with NO problems.

There was a vast array of laptops that I was considering but this one caught my eye because of the CPU and graphics that came at a great price point. I'm not a gamer but I do like a decent display. Speakers are Dolby Atmos capable but it wasn't a deal-breaker. To expect a battery life of 10 hours was far-fetched for something with this much performance. It can only last about a couple of hours with streaming videos and web browsing which is really disappointing. F keys are more focused on other stuff that I don't care too much about (webcam, mic, and projection), I would rather have those as media buttons. Fans are very quiet and barely noticeable when multitasking. OLED screen definitely gives more life to streaming and web browsing. Keyboard is kinda clacky and can be a bit annoying. This is my first laptop that I can charge with USB-C so that's really helpful. It also has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button. Despite the disadvantages I'd say it cancels out with the advantages.

The device is fast. Battery life is really bad but since the specs are pretty high, it is expected that will won't last long; about 1.5-2 hours battery life. Overall the laptop is powerful with little to no noticeable laggings. It is a very light laptop.

Great laptop. Expandable RAM, expandable storage, beautiful screen, can run games well. Battery life is not that great, but what do you expect with these specs? The matte finish is prone to fingerprints, but keeping a microfiber cloth handy is an easy fix.
