The device is fast. Battery life is really bad but since the specs are pretty high, it is expected that will won't last long; about 1.5-2 hours battery life. Overall the laptop is powerful with little to no noticeable laggings. It is a very light laptop.

Great laptop. Expandable RAM, expandable storage, beautiful screen, can run games well. Battery life is not that great, but what do you expect with these specs? The matte finish is prone to fingerprints, but keeping a microfiber cloth handy is an easy fix.

Great oled screen at 120hz but everything else is horrid. It heats very easy and also a fingerprint magnet. I had to keep a microfiber in my laptop bag just picking this thing up. The performance is rough with the RTX 3050 and an i9 13900. It throttles too much because of the heat. I needed this for college and a good battery is a must but this thing barely last more than 2.5hrs with battery saver on and the integrated graphics disable.

This laptop is an excellent choice for someone who wants to use it as a gaming platform or for graphics/CAD level system(s) uses or needs. It is a beast. The i9-13th Gen is top of the line performance capability. Plus, ASUS has streamlined this machine with the ports and options to meet your needs. For example, a dedicated RJ-45 (Ethernet) port is hard to find on laptops these days. And, with a dedicated video card, it will be hard to exceed or overwhelm any system/program you want to throw at it or tackle, using this system. ASUS is top tier equipment. I finally found a system that can handle my needs and the quality of the hardware just leaves the other laptop makers in the dust. You will not be disappointed, using this laptop!

Honestly, this is the best dang bang for your buck at $900. The screen is absolutely gorgeous, I think it's better than my M3 Macbook Pro. The processor is powerful and decently efficient. I don't think this touches the M3 Max in terms of performance per watt but at 1/3 the price it's good enough. The keyboard is nice enough to type on. The graphics processor is perfect for the day to day stuff and playing some older titles at high resolution. Overall, I like the build quality. My only complain is the top cover gets messy easily. Finger prints, smears, or really anything shows if you touch the top without recently washed hands. It's hard to wipe off as well without some kind of solution.

This ASUS Vivobook Creator laptop is perfect for anyone serious about digital content creation. The Intel i9 processor and RTX 3050 combo handle demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering with ease. While the battery life could be better, the sheer performance makes it worthwhile. Highly recommend for creators on the go!

This computer is great...for the price. Outstanding performance at a budget friendly point is the main reason I bought this laptop. It's a little thicker than I would have liked but you can't have all the goodies without giving up some room. I bought and kept this computer pondering whether I should return it and go with a thinner style but I am glad I didn't after I have used it for a while. Yes, the top is a fingerprint magnet. Yes, it's not the thinnest. Yes...it is an I9 Core with a graphics card, 16gb of expandable memory and 1tb SSD.

I purchased this laptop in November 2023 and have been using it on a daily basis for longer than a month. My experience to date has been very good. It has plenty of processing power (16 GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3050), the OLED display is amazing, and it has 1 TB SSD storage. The webcam is clear with great resolution. The speakers are clear and sufficiently loud. The computer does not heat up after prolonged use. It also comes with sufficient ports to connect USB devices, HDMI and other. I have not encountered any problems. The battery life could be longer.

Purchased this laptop because the specifications are better than most in this price range. I have found that it performs quite well under most conditions. However, when gaming (ESO), I found that the system was overheating, when using ULTRA video settings. The computer was shutting down completely after a few minutes of play. Reducing the game video settings to MEDIUM resolved the problem, but the inability to handle the higher settings was disappointing, and quite unexpected. Even at MEDIUM settings, the clarity and response are great, so I am not really that upset. I would recommend this laptop.

I would have to say after all I'm very happy with the product. Even when I had to order twice. Reason, the first open box came without a charger, and for some strange reason, customer service nor agents on store could help me with any other solution than "return and order again". It was a relief that both open box orders came with a 10/10 laptop inside. I did add a 32 Gb of memory RAM and this thing runs really good. In the CONS, it is noisy when the fans kick in and the battery life is poor but for me it's fine, most of the time will be on the desk.

The ASUS-15.6" OLED Laptop, model i9-13900H, is the finest laptop that I've ever owned! The incredibly thin and lightweight feature is perfect for traveling, and the entire laptop is obviously very well built. Best of all, the performance is blazingly fast, and the OLED display has stunning color and crisp resolution. All of the features needed are there, too, including the necessary USB ports and Ethernet, and others. The camera is spot on, and speakers of very high quality. You can't go wrong with this gem, and ASUS will be my only laptop brand for many years to come!

Seems like a really great computer. Mine took a 32 GB crucial DDR5 stick and I have 40 gigs of RAM now. It was a little tricky getting the RAM shield back on, but worth it. Infrared camera doesn’t work on mine. I think it’s an issue with the drivers packed in. I tried to reinstall the drivers but it still doesn’t work. OLED Screen is beautiful. It runs my music production software no sweat.

Purchased last week as college laptop for son with ability to also be used for light gaming, video editing, etc. Could not beat the performance for the price ($909 open box excellent) with i9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 3050, and that fantastic 2.8K OLED display. This week it is back up to $1299.99. As others mentioned it is BB rebranded K6502 Vivobook Pro 15. When i updated bios, it showed me that old BIOS was K6502 version 305 and that I was installing K6502 version 306. Great overall device!

Best Buy and ASUS got it right this time!

I have now used the new ASUS Q540VJ for a couple of weeks and I will tell you that it is the best overall performance of any laptop I have ever owned, and that goes back to the original Toshiba Satellite. It is fast, lightweight, and filled with features not usually found anymore in laptops. The 13th gen i9 and the OLED 120Hz refresh rate display make it faster than the blink of an eye almost. BTW powered by an nVidia GTX-3050 graphics car, not IRIS graphics. I notice a lot of chit chat about whether it is a Vivo or a Zen or whatever. It would be useful for the manufacturers to always put the model name on the front but I for one could care less what the machine is called. It is everything it is advertised as and exceeds my expectations. To be fair, the model I purchased apparently was made for Best Buy. It has four USB ports, an HDMI port, and, most amazingly, an SD card reader and an RJ-45 jack for wired Ethernet! You won’t find that combination on many, if any, other newest laptops. Somehow ASUS has also figured out how to make the CPU run cooler and/or effectively dissipate the heat better than any I have ever owned. I could have kept food warm on the competitor’s laptop I replaced. The only minor design issue I have is that it comes with 16GB of RAM, 8GB of which is soldered to the motherboard and the other 8GB is one that can be upgraded to 16GB for a total of 24GB according to what I have been able to find online. The keyboard is full-size and it has a number pad which is also disappearing on newer laptops. The keyboard design did cause ASUS to modify the number pad area to a slightly different configuration than is standard, but it didn’t take long to get used to that change. I should also mention that this version for Best Buy doesn’t have a touch screen, which was a big plus for me. I hate them (I also don’t use the touch pad but can’t get rid of those). All-in-all a great machine that lives up to its hype. If you can live without a standard number pad layout (e.g. Accountants) and a touch screen, I give this a very strong recommendation to buy and pressure ASUS and Best Buy to produce more of this model if they run out!
