Great all-around laptop for some gaming and editing (photo and video). Have edited 4k videos no problems with rendering or editing, I don't mind the 512ssd since I do use a lot of cloud storage for my files, but for anyone that does not use the cloud, an HDD or SSD would be necessary. One reason as to why I would not give it 5 stars is due to having to purchase an external SSD for playing games. I ran into an issue where the laptop will enter hibernation after playing a game for a bit and it felt very hot to the touch. After getting an external SSD the laptop ran cooler than before and have yet to have a hiccup while playing games. Games played & settings when it entered hibernation on its own: Spider man remastered: 1920x1080/ High Graphic preset also happened on a low graphic preset. Batman Arkham Knight: 1920x1080/ High graphic preset. After getting an external SSD I ran both games on their highest setting with no issues or hiccups. I did run ray tracing shadows on Spiderman and no crashes or random hibernations, but FPS does take a decent hit at times, other than that on very high graphics it runs super smooth.

Great product. This laptop is very fast, easy to learn how to use. You can use it for almost everything from schooling to gaming, I purchased this for my wife as she needed a new computer for her 3D modeling she does for work. This thing is a beast.

Ok i bought this Laptop for $812 including tax during black Friday, 2 things you need to adjust: number one go to setting>System and turn HDR on. Number tow go MyAsus>Customization and turn your Fan profile to Performance Mode, If you don't turn on both you will get odd colors and your computer will get really hot during heavy duty. Note both features don't work if your Laptop on Battery. Now with that being said I truly love this Laptop, Its fast, elegant, and Sleek . If you can get it under 1k then go for it, Otherwise i would add few more hundreds and buy a better one. The Oled feature is amazing i love the screen and performance over all.

So glad I bit the bullet and upgraded my laptop! This has all the power I need to do the accounting and admin for my small business. The built-in number keypad and backlit keyboard are something I never had before and highly appreciated. It is thin enough to carry easily around the house or when on the go. The built-in webcam is high quality (people have even commented on the quality of my picture when I am on Zoom or Google Meet) and it has a sliding door that easily closes the camera when not in use. Battery life issues remain to be seen, but so far I am happy with the length of time the laptop holds a charge.

It’s a great laptop! Very fast and the screen is so clear. My only complaint is how hot it can get! The keyboard is very ergonomic too.

As a college student, this laptop hasn’t ceased to amaze me! It’s fast, it’s sleek, and overall a heavy little thing. Perfect for writing essays and even watching the occasional movie with crisp graphics. My only gripe is that it can’t run hefty video games, but, that’s to be expected. Overall, a solid product. Kudos to Asus.

This ASUS Vivobook is a powerhouse! With a fast 13th Gen Core i7 processor, vibrant OLED display, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, it tackles demanding tasks with ease. Plus, the 16GB of memory and 512GB SSD provide ample storage and speedy performance. While it may show some fingerprints and heat up occasionally, this laptop is an excellent choice for creators and gamers alike.

While I was initially excited about its potential, I encountered several issues that prevented me from fully enjoying its features. I truly wished it worked out as I had high hopes for this laptop. This was my first ASUS computer as I wanted to give it a try after reading the specs and reviews. I have always been an HP person but was open to new brands as time is evolving. I was recently using a new LG Gram but wanted something with a dedicated graphics card to be future proof. Keep in mind I had my original laptop for 10+ years as how I take care of them so wanted something that will also last long before getting the LG Gram which I returned. I quickly jumped on buying this when it was on sale as it was powerful, within budget, had all the bells and whistles, and future proof. I used the hell of this to test its performance. It gets intensely hot even when only charging. While the laptop boasts an exquisite screen and impressive specifications, including powerful hardware, unfortunately, I experienced significant difficulties with its performance and functionality. One of the most notable aspects of this laptop was is its stunning display and specs. The OLED screen quality is beyond beautiful, delivering vivid colors and sharp visuals. Screen does not have an Anti-Glare Coating which did not bother me. Whether I was gaming, watching clips, browsing the internet, or working on projects, the display truly enhanced the visual experience and added to the overall appeal of the laptop. Furthermore, the laptop's specifications are indeed impressive, with robust hardware, that promises smooth multitasking and efficient performance. The processor and memory provide ample power to handle demanding tasks, data, applications, and multimedia files without any issues. These days 1TB sdd size should be the basic size and not 512GB ssd. However, despite these positive aspects, I encountered several frustrating problems with this that hindered my overall satisfaction. Firstly, I experienced difficulties with the laptop's power management. On multiple occasions, the laptop failed to turn on or abruptly turned off during sleep mode. These power-related issues significantly impacted my productivity and forced me to constantly hold the power button down to re-boot it. There were times that even holding the power button, pressed any key, it still did not turn on. Tried uploading a video but only pictures are allowed. Majority of the time without no possible reason, the laptop would turn on after putting it on sleep my by just closing the laptop. Example, I closed my laptop after using, I would come back after 20 minutes and it completely turned off. Settings where all set to normal and where double checked by Best Buy personal when I took it in. I even goggled for a solution but nothing. The battery was another issue. Just by basic internet search and Word, the battery percentage kept draining quickly, less than average battery of light use when it was advertised as "up to 10". Gaming was done plugged in as battery died after 30 minutes when had full battery. I ran countless tests through the MYASUS & ProArt intergraded apps and continuously found no issue. This has to be a internal problem of the battery ASUS used on this and hardware. I do like these as it adds an extra layer to check on things. Moreover, performance-related problems were evident during various activities, such as light gaming or even basic tasks like working on Excel, Word, or conducting internet searches. The laptop frequently suffered from lagging or crashes which annoyed the hell out of me. These issues were particularly frustrating, as they got in my way to work efficiently and enjoy a smooth experience. Considering the laptop's promising specifications, such performance shortcomings were unexpected and disappointing and just decreased my hopes to work out which was bothersome. I called ASUS customer services multiple times for all these reasons although they asked to send the laptop in, it did not make sense to do so on a brand new laptop. They tried helping me out by sending links to on how to fix, none of them worked. BIOS was updated too. Even before calling ASUS or taking it to Best Buy, I factory reset it and re updated all the software's and drives to make sure it was just a glitch. Turns out, it was not as it sill continue to have issues. The in person customer service reps at Best Buy by my home were superb in trying to figure out the issues but could not find a true way of fixing these issues even though they said to return it for another one I just kept this. Getting Geek Squad is something I would personally add since having warranty for a new few extra years can be helpful to have for the future in the event it needs fixed for whatever reason. While the ASUS Q530VJ laptop excels in terms of its stunning display and impressive specifications, it fell short in terms of reliability and performance based on the issues that came up or me. The recurring issues with power management, battery, frequent lags, and crashes during different tasks significantly destroyed my overall satisfaction. I really wished this worked...

Very fast laptop was surprised how quick windows opens and closes. Able to play my games on ultra settings. Screen is amazing also with the Oled technology.

Amazing laptop, the screen is absolutely perfect. I thought the resolution was going to be an issue, but it's not. I didn't buy this for gaming, but it is surprisingly good for it. All around super happy with the purchase. PS: for good battery life just turn down the brightness, I can get 7 hours of constant use at half brightness. Non-gaming obviously

This laptop is AMAZING. It has beautiful picture quality thanks to its OLED display, powerful performance thanks to the i7 and 16gb of RAM, AND can even function as a gaming laptop for smaller games like The Sims and League of Legends. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a multipurpose laptop that makes movie watching, video game playing, video editing, and productivity hassle-free.

Loving this computer so far. The design is solid and all mechanical functions are quiet - typing and closing the lid. The OLED screen provides noticeable quality when gaming in richness of color and framerate. When working under typical demand not gaming the battery life is superb but does experience expected decreases with the brightness all the way up. With mid brightness I had an estimated battery life of 5-6 hr.

Excellent price for this laptop. The screen is crisp and clear very user friendly and powerful. Loving this purchase!

This is by far the fastest computer I have ever owned. I did not buy this computer because I am a gamer. I bought it because the internet will keep consuming more and more resources in the future. This computer zooms and has a great screen that is very clean and easy to see. The backlit keyboard has a nice range of brightness to choose from. This is a well-made machine.

ASUS vivabook is good , using for for quite a long time, decent battery backup, good performance with I7 and 16gb ram. It has rtx 3050 which adds very impressive performance

I bought this laptop to replace my 7yr old laptop. I'm loving it. It's fast, light, & powerful. I use it for the daily mundane computer tasks, email, & social media. I also use it for editing pictures and video from land cameras & underwater cameras. I've had no issues with it. I get good battery life, enough to use it for the entire international flights plus the associated travel.
