I am fairly happy with my new laptop. I like the 360 ability and turning into a tablet is easy. The memory capability is poor. I find it's also a bit slow loading and this could be all the extra programs they pre select on this model. I have removed a few and freed up some memory and sped up the processor.
This a good computer for those who don't play a lot of video games and really want something basic enough to check email, surf the net and communicate on social media. The sound is pretty awesome for such a little computer. It was easy to set up and easy to use. So far it's ok only time will tell on how much this computer can handle.

I am currently a freshmen in highschool and was in need of a new laptop because my old $180 was never good enough and wouldnt print and was just overall a bad computer. So, online i ordered this computer. I narrowed all the laptops down to this one by price and features (I ended up getting this laptop at $399). I was already annoyed by this order because they didnt have this computer in stock for 250+ miles away. The order was going to take over a week to deliver even just being shipped to the store, but was very excited when i got a text updating me that my order was ready for pick up. My dad picked it up while i was at scholl and when i got home and finished my homework, i opened it. The box was only secured closed by one 5 inch long peice of packaging tape. I couldn't have cut more than a few centimeters deep fearing that i would damage the product. The poduct was covered with cardboard, placed in a cloth sleeve and had the same thin fabric covering the keyboard. I immediately opened the laptop and was shocked by how easily yuou could see finger prints on this thing. I wiped off the marks with a glasses cleaner and placed the computer down. I looked inside to see what else it came with. This included two packets for the computer, charging cable, and pen (no anti-virus like promised unless already added to the computer). I looked back down to the laptop and saw a few smudge marks on the screen ( i thought ). To my surprise, there were scratches all over the screen. There wasn't even a protective film over the screen like i thought there usually was. I then checked everything else out and found out the pen isn't even magnetized like shown in the images. I placed everything back in the box just as it came but the only difference was that i had taken the screen stickers off the corners. I am not sure if this is best buys product mishandled, ASUS's fault or shipping malfunction. I just know that i am dissapointed and know i will have to wait another week for a new one to come in as i am sending this one back for a relacement. I didn't even have the opurtunity to turn it on and see its specs.
