I am regretting purchasing this computer. The colors are neon, not at all natural. I only get 1/2 of the audio on videos and music. There is definitely something not right in the set up of this computer. I'll have to run to geek squad to see if they can fix any of this.

Love the Asus brand. Purchased this one for my daughter’s birthday. She is very happy with it.

Once all the drivers are updated, the laptop lags when doing basic things in Windows like opening the Task Manager and opening the Nvidia control panel. The mouse would freeze for 1-2 second each time. That was unexpected given the specs of the machine. Tried resetting and cloud recovery with help from Asus and neither resolved the issue. Had to return it unfortunately.

We haven’t had a chance to use it very much yet, but it has the features we need.

In the never ending arms race to produce ever more powerful laptops, Asus has rolled out its latest entry in the battle for consumers: the Vivobook Pro 15. Powered by Intel's latest generation Core Ultra 9 CPU (Meteor Lake 185H) and packed full of the latest and greatest PC hardware (well mostly ) this laptop is designed to take on the most challenging tasks and produce a great result in record time. It does not matter if you are producing your own videos, doing pro graphics work or just watching the latest movie on your favorite streaming service, the Vivobook 15 gets the job done without breaking a sweat. Although you might be sweating a little yourself if have this thing sitting on your lap. Like many high-performance machines, this new Core 9 Ultra model runs very hot.( with noticeable cooling fan noise at times) So it's best to keep it on a desktop unless you are working a a very chilly environment and want to curl up with it to keep warm. Anyone who knows anything about PCs can't help but be impressed by the specs associted with the Vivobook Pro, starting with the gorgeous 15.6-inch OLED screen. Bright vivid colors, perfect blacks, amazing conrast are standard. Just be aware this screen is configured more like a 16:9 widescreen TV than the old 4:3 ratio laptop screens. So you see less top to bottom than you would with a taller screen. It's also quite shiny so glare may be an issue if you are working in a bright environment. That amazing full HD OLED screen is driven by a powerful Nvidia Geforce 3050 GPU. It is not a high-end gaming chip but can easily can breeze through video and graphics production work... as well as make any streaming video you may want to watch look pretty great. The Nvidia chip has 6GB of memory built in so it does not have to rely so much on the 24GB of built in PC RAM, which provides a lot of computational headroom when working on demanding multimedia chores. Another impressive spec is the 2TB SSD, which should provide enough super-fast storage for all your content. And let's not forget the sweet-sounding Harman Kardon Dolby Atmos sound system, which makes movies sound great. It is one of the better sounding laptops I have used, with a nice wide sound field when Dolby Atmos is used. The keyboard is backlit, which makes working in low light environments easier. The only spec that falls a bit short is the built-is the wi-fi chip. It's a Wifi 6E version instead of one built around the newest and fastest WiFI 7 standard. Most people don't have WiFi 7 routers yet but it is always nice to stay current with the latest tech. Still, WiFi 6E is probably more than adequate for the average user today , since most probably don't even have WiFI 6E compliant routers yet. (WiFi 6E supports a third channel, 6 ghz, in addition to the 2.4ghz and 5 ghz channels of WiFI 6 and lower, for better wifi performance). One other cavet related to the new Intel Core 9 Ultra chip: Overall Performance in routine, low-power applications may feel more sluggish than you expect for such a high performance CPU. That may be because this new CPU has new architecture with two different cores -- a P core for power-hungry applications and an E-core (E for efficient) for routine stuff like web browsing. If the CPU decides what you are doing does not require much horsepower, the low-power E-core handles those duties. That reduces power consumption and increases battery life. But it also means, this laptop may sometimes seem more sluggish than even earlier generation Core i7 PCs when running those same routine applications. Speaking of efficiency, the Vivobook Pro 15 is rated to run 10 hours on a fully charged battery, but mileage will vary with workload. It is important to also be aware that this is the first Intel CPU with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which is designed handle AI-related chores. It is still a bit unclear what that will mean in terms of everyday computing , but you would have to living under a rock not to know that AI is the technology of the future. So having a PC designed to deal with AI applications sure can't hurt. For a laptop, the Vivobook Pro 15 has an impressive collection of ports, including ethernet, HDMI 2.1, two Thunderbolt 4 and two superspeed USB A. It also has built in webcam, which is tied to a face recognition logon system, and microphone. There is also a full-size SD slot and headphone jack. One of the few features this laptop does NOT have is a touchscreen. It is designed for desktop productivity, not to double as a tablet. So if a touchscreen is important to you, look elsewhere.

Sorry but this is a lemon. The laptop just died after 5 mos. Went back to Bestbuy, they sent it to manufacturer, got it after 2 weeks, they said motherboard got fried and replaced it, then died again after 3 months less. Sending it back, see what else broke down. If not for BB support, this is 1 star product.
