What made me choose Asus brand is I currently have a Vivobook for the past 4 years and the laptop is amazing, but I wanted an upgrade. I did a lot of research and choose this one, and it was a huge disappointment. When I connected to wifi during the computer set up it kept disconnecting, just want to add my wifi has never disconnected on my current Asus. Once I was on my desktop the screen kept going black for a few seconds, the bottom of the laptop and charger was scorching hot. I was so scared I thought it was going to burn the computer out. So I unplugged and turned off everything to let it cool down, Did a factory reset and returned it. It was not over 20 minutes I was using this laptop, 1099.99 for a piece of junk. Also it felt very cheap like I could break in half. I will never purchase this brand again, they have went down bad.

Dont let one bad review ruin this amazing price

Sounds like the user above got a bad egg. Also chassis in non touch screen computers are super thin and light due to not having the extra hardware and weight a 2 in 1 laptop screen offers. Super thin snd lightweight which makes it even easier to take around. Modern computers dont use fans to cool down the laptop anymore as its not needed for modern components to keep cool. This does result in the computer being hotter but will do so at a safe temperature that wont harm the device. Keep this information in mind for any new laptop. A different era in how these computers work conpared to the past. Get away from being stuck on a old mindset.
