Bad Touchpad

Not discoverable in the bios or anything. It seems like this may be an ASUS issue as there have been people complaining about ASUS touchpads for years. I will try once more and see if it’s not defective.

Would purchase again - but somewhere else

I purchased a used / open box laptop, and one week later the new laptop was $200 off, less than what I paid for the USED laptop. 'Best' buy said all they could do was refund me about $65 to match the sale price of a brand NEW never-before-used laptop. Why would I pay the same price for a used laptop as a brand new one? That is ridiculous and is the last time I will ever shop at best buy again.

The battery life, as can be expected from any laptop with a dedicated gpu, is poor. expect to carry the (very fast) charging brick around if you expect to be using this for more than a few hours a day. This is not listed anywhere but there are variations of a 3050 in a laptop. The one in here is the 35 watt one, which I believe is the slowest. This is probably simply just a limitation of the form factor, any more powerful would require more cooling, which means bigger, which means heavier, and also means more expensive. will still run games, just temper your expectations when it comes to triple a, difficult to run games. (plugging in the laptop to power will make it run games best.)
