Customers appreciate the Zenbook 14" Laptop for its great value, lightweight design, long battery life, comfortable keyboard, and reliable performance. It is suitable for general productivity, light gaming, and college courses. On the downside, some users have concerns about the limited RAM upgradability, occasional heating issues, limited number of USB ports, small storage capacity, and fan noise.

A great deal of a laptop when purchased on sale. Performs very well. Only downside is that it can get hot.

Decent quality overall and looks very nice. A mid level performer good for everyday work. Can handle light gaming as well. Good processor for the price point. Speakers are loud enough.

The laptop has met all of my needs so far! I bought this to have a light but quick laptop to carry around from home to work to use for studying and some light coding. Solid battery life helps get through the day without having to be on a charger. My only complaints are the small ssd (which can be swapped out) and only 8gb of ram (which cannot be modified.) You can do some gaming on it as well, but it's definitely not its main purpose. Great for students or those on the go!

Great laptop for your basic needs and productivity. CPU is the latest and greatest of the AMD Ryzen series. It could have another 8GB stick of RAM and a TB of SSD storage, but isn't needed. Built quality is up there. I like that the whole keyboard lights up with different light settings from dim to bright. Overall for the price I would recommend it if it were $100 cheaper. 4/5 stars is the right rating.

I bought this computer to replace one made by another brand that had broken after only about one year of normal use. This computer claims to be built with "US military-grade durability" and so far, it has proven to be as rugged as ASUS claims. It's also super fast, has great sound, and the battery lasts a long time. My one complaint, if you can call it that, is that the touchpad sometimes gets a bit confused, registering a right click when I touch to the left of the center line. But this doesn't happen a lot, and I can live with that. I'm very pleased with my ASUS Zenbook.

School work AND The Sims? FINALLY!

So I am someone who continuously buys laptops and returns them because they don't do X/Y/Z. I have been on the hunt for a smaller laptop that I could take anywhere, and do both school work AND play the Sims 4 on. This knocks it absolutely out of the park within an affordable price range. I can't tell you how many times I have bought computers recently, but Best Buy probably could. I'm still not certain whether I'm going to return this one because I desperately want a Macbook Air, but I may hang onto it for awhile. It runs the Sims on the highest quality, and much better than my 3 year old gaming desktop. The ONLY downside is that the backlit keyboard is weird. It hurts my eyes. It's almost too bright without actually being bright at all and sort of feels like a weird LED glow peering into my pupils. I haven't tried it in like a dark or darker room yet to see if that eases it up, but it truly isn't feasible to use in the daylight at all. Thankfully, I've been typing on keyboards without number pads for quite some time so the keys are like second nature and I don't find myself needing the backlit keyboard as much. Frankly, with how many laptops DON'T have this feature, it probably would've been better to just do without. Lastly, I enjoy the keys and how much they come out. The fan is not loud, and the screen edges max out to the very best they can. I would absolutely recommend this for someone who plays basic games and wants a small laptop for school still.

Its a very good laptop for someone that is on a budget but still want a good quality product. The resolution isnt the best but at least its 1080p which for most people is more than enough. Its pretty quick for using apps and other funtions. The only bad thing I found was that when you need to download the system and softword updates it takes forever. I have 1 gig internet and I use the lan cable and still it takes a very long time.

downsizing from laptop to Zenbook. I am liking the smaller size of the Zenbook and it has all the features i need. PROS: Love the backlit keyboard. work all day on battery with no problem. plenty of speed and storage capacity. lower size means lower cost. CONS: miss my number pad, having to get used to top line numbers as only choice. only 1 USB port means switching wireless mouse and memory sticks more difficult. Overall: very happy with purchase choice, have always liked ASUS products.

Great all around laptop. Small enough to take anywhere. Nice sized screen and good speed. Really enjoying it. I wish the keyboard was easier to see, not that I really need it. But once you turn on the keyboard back light it’s fine. I cut a few short video ads for Facebook and it seems to be fast enough for on the go. Also build really well and THIN!!! Not too heavy either. Overall, Works just as expected and as needed. Wouldn’t use is as my main computer, but love is as my travel, on the go, or relaxing sofa the sofa laptop.

This computer was for my college bound daughter and she really likes it. It's fast and light and compact with a long battery life between charges. The screen is sharp and the backlit keys will help in a dimly lit dorm room at night. The feel of the aluminum construction is sturdy but you can still easily lift the screen with one finger without having to hold down the keyboard with your other hand. The sound through the speakers is pretty good and the dedicated graphics makes things snappy. Now I wish I had bought two.

For the price, it gets the job done. The screen is nice, the keyboard feels good, and the trackpad has no issues. The backlight on the keyboard can be a problem though. The keys are clearly visible in a dark room, but under sunlight the letters can be a bit hard to read ( because of white light on silver keys). The battery lasts long enough for my daily schedule. The MX450 was good for light 1080p video editing in Premiere Pro, but 4K editing is far from smooth.

Battery is great! Performance is great! Screen is decent but not bright. Some things I wish that people would mention in their review: The battery is 63wH, the MX450 is the GDDR6 30W version, the screen is 250 nits. Overall I’m really happy with it and I got it for really cheap.

Sleek and light laptop. Easy to carry around and looks like a premium laptop. Computer is also very fast. Very nice 1080p screen and excellent battery light. My only cons are that the computer can get very hot if you are doing intensive tasks like gaming. I would not place this on my lap. The RAM is not upgradable so you are stuck with 8gb.
